Great fit and function
Exact replacement for my golf cart. Fixed an over charging condition.

Works only with modifications
Although this regulator correctly controls the output of the generator, it is not a direct fit replacement. The charging wire which has a female spade connector is the wrong connector to fit the wiring harness. A male spade connector is required. I made a male to male jumper to connect the regulator to the wiring harness. Fortunately I had the necessary male spade connectors in my shop. The positive wire connects to the solenoid at a 3/8 shaft terminal. However the wire has a ring connector that is way too small. I had to cut the ring connector and spread the parts far enough to fit over the solenoid shaft. The seller should advise buyers of this and the manufacturer should take steps to modify the wire ends to properly connect to wiring harness. A multimeter shows the devise regulates output to around 14.4V. Exactly what it should be to keep battery charged without damaging battery. If you have the expertise to make the necessary modifications, this item is worth buying. My main reason for choosing this item was fast Amazon shipping. I wanted to get my golf cart up and running as fast as possible.
