I like the ease of this cowash which tingles my scalp but doesn't dry out my hair. Also don't have to use conditioner but I do to add additional moisture to my hair. This is a good alternative to harsher dandruff shampoos.

I have curly/wavy hair and try to go as long as I can without a wash because it usually dries out my hair but when I don't wash my scalp gets itchy so it's been a lesser-of-two-evils type of situation until I took a chance on this cowash. First, the smell is fantastic, it's like a supercharged mint. Second, the first time I used it I got compliments on my hair and I was a little bit shocked lol. My hair had more life and more defined curls than when I don't shampoo. I've been using it one to two times a week but I think I'm going to increase that because I just love the way it makes my hair look. And my scalp has felt better than it has in YEARS! I used to have to use medicated shampoo every few days but I've almost completely cut that out now. Please don't ever stop making this product!

Really helped my dry scalp and had a cooling feeling.

I've had dandruff all my life. Nothing worked, or would even make it worse. No OTC or Rx dandruff shampoo helped. Tried topical steroids, coconut and other oils. I went to a dermatologist for years. I used this ONCE and the itch was almost completely gone and so was the dandruff. It sounds like a paid review or a bot post but it really worked. It is very cool and tingly and soothing. The smell is pretty strong but it's just kinda minty. The one thing I would change is the container. Scooping it out of the tub with your fingers in the shower is not easy. The texture is like a thin yogurt so you end up dropping some if you're not careful. A bottle of some kind would be better. I hope they never stop making this!

**Update after several washings** I've gotten used to the smell and it's not so overwhelming anymore. It doesn't give me a headache nor irritate my scalp. I love how my hair looks after it dries, even if I let it dry naturally, which with traditional poo/conditioner would be unattractive, tangled and frizzy. This stuff is great. I'm upgrading from three to four stars. It would be a five-star product if the smell wasn't so overwhelmingly strong. I prefer natural scents from essential oils. This left my hair soft and shiny and seemed to tame flyaways. My scalp is not itchy. The product is thick so it seems like a good value. My only gripe is that this is heavily fragranced! Like I smell like a Jersey Shore dude covered in Axe body spray cheap cologne smell. Since I didn’t notice that anywhere in reviews I read before I ordering I am making sure to add that here for women who would want to know. I’m not sure I can even use it again because the smell is so overwhelming. That said, I stay away from perfumed products due to skin irritation/allergy issues, and as far as I can fell after one use, this didn’t irritate my skin despite the smell. It did make my scalp tingle for several hours after use but I think that’s from the peppermint and menthol oils in the list of ingredients.

I use it every other week to cleanse my hair. It's not over-drying, but it leaves my hair soft and moisturized. This will not give you a deep clean, but it does what it's supposed to do as a cowash. One of the most effective products I've used to combat dandruff and flakes.

I’m obsessed with the fragrance in this! I’m a die-hard fan of As I Am’s Cowash line of products. I decided to try this version because my scalp was drier postpartum. The scent is so calming as it has a eucalyptus aroma. It has helped stop the constant itching on my scalp that I would experience before using this product. I use the co-wash on a day that I might normally use shampoo but don’t want to use as harsh of an option as a clarifying shampoo. It helps extended my curls longer between wash days. Keeps my hair well hydrated too!

I’ve had a flaky scalp for years and years and have never been able to find the right combination that got rid of the flakes and itch without turning my hair into a frizzy mess. This product handled the flakes while also providing much needed moisture

I thought itchy scalp was just my lot in life. I never knew it was so easy to resolved with a new hair regime! This cowash works great and smells great. I now wash once every 6-7 days (followed by the As I Am conditioner plus a leave-in), rather than every couple of days, and my loose-curl hair looks healthy and fresh right thru the week. Not greasy or heavy with residue at all. Recommended!!

I’ve ordered this product before and I loved it but this time when I ordered it most of the products spelt through the delivery package so I had barely any to use. So I recommend the product. It’s amazing for my curly hair, but have some caution with the Delivery.

I tried the product, but unfortunately, it didn’t work well for me. Instead of moisturizing, it ended up drying my hair out even more. My scalp didn’t feel any better, and I wouldn’t repurchase. Might work for some, but it wasn’t effective in my experience.

My scalp is sensitive to over washing and it would get itchy and oily fast. My hair would be so dry and then when I started using this between washes my hair still felt clean and alive if I must say. I keep it on a few minutes purely because I love the way it feels
