Are these completely waterproof? I'm taking my son skiing/tubing in November and don't want his hands to freeze up

They worked pretty well with my daughter when I took her to the mountains in February for snowboarding.

Do these run true to size? I have a 21 month old and am torn between the 1-2 and 2-3 year size.

I'd say 1-2. I ordered 1-2 for my 25 month old and they fit really well with room to spare. I'd guess he'll be able to wear them again next year.
