Nunn Bush Men’s Lincoln Penny Loafer Slip-On

I like loafers in general. Nunn Bush are very comfortable and fit well. I have 8 pairs in different styles. Half of them have worn well. The other half, including this Lincoln Loafer, have quality issues. On this shoe, the leather uppers where they are stitched together have seperated showing raw leather. Quite ugly. To no avail, I have attempted to get shoe polish into the gap. Easily visible flaw from eye level.

Over the years, I have worn every expensive brand of loafer that is available and every last one of them was uncomfortable and had a painful break-in period. This Nunn Bush loafer has been just the opposite. It was comfortable from the first moment I slipped it on and there was no break-in period at all. It looks just as good as the other brands but is far less expensive and, for me, has been far more comfortable. If I ever need another loafer, I will definitely be buying Nunn Bush again.

They are comfortable after the initial break in period.They are padded and going into winter the rubber soles will keep my feel dry.They are for any loafer fan and would have received five stars if the leather had been a little softer.

The left shoe has virtually fallen apart after a few wearings. The right shoe is fine, but the top stitching on the left shoe has completely started to come undone. I would have hoped there was a warranty for defective merchandise, especially since I bought two pairs, one for each person, and the other pair is perfectly fine!

After finally planing to wear these shoes five months after delivery I was more than a bit surprised to see that I received two right shoes, not a right and left pair.

These were comfortable and inexpensive shoes, but with the last two or three pair I've purchased, the leather rips apart along the sole or the glue comes apart at the heel, long before the heel or sole wears out.Now they are just inexpensive shoes that don't last long.

This is a beautiful shoe, but the seams come apart and leather separates from the sole if you happen to get caught in the rain a few times.It really is a great looking shoe, but the quality of materials is below average.

Bottom line. The leather is hard but the insole is even harder. The shoe is very heavy and very uncomfortable. I would say that you get what you pay for, but the shoes are extremely over priced for what they are.
