Perfect for fractal wood burning
Good product for the money. Using on a fractal burner I built using a microwave transformer. No issues at all with insulation melting. Very flexible.

Nice Wire
Wire is nice and flexible and I have tested it for a neon sign transformer (6A) with no issues. Would definitely purchase again if I needed more.

Great wire!
This wire is way under rated. It carries voltage very well and never heats up. The flexibility is Supreme. I used this wire in my lichtenburg device. Can't go wrong with this. I tried the white hard silicone wire only to go this route and it's the perfect match. If you want the ability to have removable leads also look for tig welding connectors.

works with 6KV
Used in amateur radio amplifier @ 6KV. The insulation is tough and thick. the wire is stranded and bright. the wire diameter seems a bit small for 14 ga.

Great quality!
Should work fantastic for high voltage leads. I will be doing testing on breakdown voltage of the silicone coating and will update this review with results. This wire is NOT for normal wiring applications, it is designed specifically for very high voltage. I reviewed the 40kv version of this wire with the same review.

Perfect for the lichtenberg / fractal wood burning

Good insulation but definitely not a 14 Guage wire in terms of copper.
I bought this wire for a high voltage application and it's obvious that's insulation is better than other types, like speaker wire. It's copper content, and therfore it's resistance, however, is far from what can be called 14 Guage. I compared to some high quality 14 Guage speaker wire I had and this wire probably has less than half of the copper than the speaker wire. Even considering the better branded (and more expensive) speaker wire would have slightly more copper due to it's cost alone, this wire doesn't come close to adequate. Much closer to 16 Guage they are trying to pass as 14. Pass on this if you need 14 Guage's amperage capacity. If not, consider this a high voltage 16 Guage wire.
