Low quality, cheap flimsy plastic. If it wasn't broken when I opened it, then it broke as I opened it the first time. The weight of the lid is so heavy it flexes the plastic walls of the lower box and causes the material to "tear" I was very unhappy as everything appeared very nice.. hardware seemed ok and the top was predrilled for my backrest already

Okay real truth! This is a great value. I’ve used it for about 2200 miles and it solid and handles a full load great. I would highly recommend this tour pack for the construction and the visibility. Okay the cons... This doesn’t come with the any connectors. If you are replacing a Harley tour pack your existing connector fits so that awesome. If you don’t have a connector only a few places have them and Harley isn’t one of them. Once I finally found a connector via BadDad I found out I needed to modify the pack a little so the connector would work. Not a big deal I used my Demel and did it in a few minutes. All in all I still give it five stars because it’s less than 30% of Harley’s solution even after buying the connectors for my Street Glide and the tour pack. This is a plug and play solution when the right connectors.

It is a nice trunk for the price. The plastic is a little light weight. But again, for the price, I have no complaints at all. The only hassle is finding a plug for the lights. I found that NAMZ makes one. They have the whole wiring harness if you are putting this on a harley. Or, if you call them, they can get you just the pigtail to wire into other manufacturer's bikes PT-12077591 PIGTAIL, OEM King Tour Pack Light Connector

Overall fit and finish very pleased with price pleased with. but it’s a hassle to get the plug that it didn’t come with it’s $100 from Harley Davidson can’t find it anywhere on Amazon.

the tour pack is an aftermarket item, it seems a bit weak, I did loose the hardware for the quick detach on one side, but was able to just bolt it back together, no biggie, but it has held up ok, I do have a crack starting around where the hinges are(a very small crack), i am watching it, it hasn't gotten any worse, but you can't beat the price. I think it was worth the money.

I bought the steel plate for reinforcement as well to mount this...The plastic was so cheap it broke anyway. I didn't even notice it was broken till one sunny day riding I happened to see the shadow of the tour pak bouncing as I was riding.

Seems less sturdy than other options. But for the cost you can’t go wrong.

This is an awesome Tour Pack. Tons of space. High quality. Boxed and packed well by shipper. The harness plug you need for the tour pack light is search this number on Amazon and you will find it NTP-CB01. It for Harley’s and fits this tour plug electrical connector . I don’t own a Harley but a Cooler Drifter and needed to upgrade my smaller tour pack with this huge one. The seller emailed me this when I asked. You see the picture I took of connector on Tour Pack as a reference. I own a different bike so this connecter will plug into light bar on tour pack and I will splice other end of wires to to my current wiring tour pack harness. ***UPDATE THE NTP-CBO1 PLUG HARNESS CAME TO ME TODAY BUT IT ONLY HAS 6 pin HOLES, THREE ON EACH SIDE OF THE PLUG AND NOT THE 5 pin HOLES NEEDED FOR THE METAL PRONGS PLUG ON LIGHT BAR WITH ONE ON EACH CORNER AND ONE IN THE MIDDLE. SO IT WONT WORK. I CONTACTED AND SENT PICTURE TO BADDAD SITE ANOTHER REVIEWER MENTIONED AND THE ONLY ONLY THEY SELL THAT FITS THE 5 PIN PRONG LIGHT BAR PLUG IS CALLED "Complete Tour Pack Wiring Harness - $165.00 Fits 1997-2019 Touring models" I also bought a used OEM Harley luggage rack for it. Just use painters tape on lid and place and measure equal placement. The new aftermarket or used luggage rack OEM are basically the same and come with black weather spacers. I just outlined mine once positioned and the round weather caps come off and set in outlined circle and mark inside circle where bolt goes through and then drilled. Pretty simple but critical is marking exact spot. If you buy luggage rack remember the shorter edge towards backrest. Just look at Harley pictures and you’ll see that you put then on right The same company that’s makes the Tour Pack makes a backrest that I had colored brown for it that has great reviews. I have that coming from Amazon same seller as Tour Pack and my local leather vinyl paint guy will change the backrest black color to Indian brown to match my seats for 80 bucks. This seller ships UPS out of California and is fast. I bought this tour pack for more storage and full size helmet storage. Here a pic of it back from painter and Inwited up the light bar. Light gives you running, brakes, turn signals. Awesome
