I loved it! It's so beautiful once you get it together. Was pretty easy to put together. I did expect more of a challenge, but I’m very satisfied!

My first 3D puzzle ever and it was so much fun to put together. The pieces are very durable, considering you're required to bend the pieces that come with creases. This isn't a typical puzzle. Rather than trying to find which piece goes together (which I think would be almost impossible to do), each piece is numbered with an arrow pointing to where the next piece needs to go. I spent a good couple hours putting the whole thing together, making sure all the pieces lined up. When it was finally completed and I turned the LED on, it was prettier than the picture. The lights definitely made this even more special. You have the option of choosing white lights, or cycling lights (5 colors altogether). The base is basically the plastic container that holds the light in place and keeps the materials from moving around inside the box. So it's not a solid base and the edges are a bit flimsy if you want to move the tower from one room to another. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and I'm definitely getting another 3D puzzle.

This puzzle is very cool. Despite the posted age range, I ordered this for my daughters (ages 3, 6 and 7) because they are obsessed with Paris right now. The 3-year-old is a great puzzler, but this was well beyond her capabilities. The other two hung in there with it though, and really enjoyed the final result. The pieces are strong, and I really like the hinged pieces that form the corners. Towards the top, it gets a bit tricky to make pieces fit and stay together, but we got it done. The numbering on the back is very helpful. In fact, this puzzle is really more about following a sequence of numbers than visually matching piece to piece as in a traditional 2D puzzle. The tower is broken up into three sections which gives you nice places to stop and take a break for a while. Lighting this thing up after completion is really what it's all about though. The changing colors are really cool, and the shadows it creates on the ceiling kind of make it feel like you're under the actual tower. We loved it, and will definitely look at buying more Ravensburger 3D puzzles in the future.

I really appreciated the fact that there are 3 tiers to this tower and the inside of the pieces have numbers on them and arrows that point to the side the next number should be on. Made putting it together a lot faster and my 5 year old helped me find the next numbers :) It was a tight squeeze for a mans hands on the top portion where the top of the tower gets narrow, I had my wife doing the very top because of it. I would have liked to have a little more time spent on it and more pieces for the $20 price tag, but then again the light up base looks nice in dim or dark areas. So I am guessing that is where the price increase came from. I will be attempting a harder or larger scale puzzle in the future without the lighting (castle) and hope that it is a bit more challenging and/or time consuming.

My eleven-year-old daughter loved this gift. She was able to put it together completely on her own, and it turned out to be a very high-quality item that she loves having as a display in her room. It is really cool when it is lit up at night. The color changing feature is awesome as well. This would make a fabulous gift for anyone who enjoys puzzles.

*update: another reviewer told me where the switch is and now the colors work too 😉😨* (disregard below, we love it!) My 10 year old daughter found this and bought it for my 13 year old daughter for Christmas. It's beautiful and was fun to put together, but it didn't come with the 5 different colors of LED lights that were in the description, which were also part of what made my 10 year old choose this one for her sister. It only has a white light and nothing to change colors in any way. By the time we realized it was missing anything, my 13 year old had already loved it and built the whole thing, kind of late and hard to return it. I can't find where to contact the seller, in hopes of them sending us what we're missing so I'm hoping they read this & contact me... otherwise I recommend if you order this, you should check for anything missing before you start it in case you need to return it!

My 6 year old granddaughter with a little of my help put this puzzle together in a few hours. She loved putting it together and loved the ultimate result. The model lights up and really makes it look very nice indeed.

The puzzle was exactly what we wanted and it is well worth the five stars I gave it, but you may want to know about the building process. The model is more of a construction toy in puzzle format. Each piece has a number on the back and an arrow showing where the next piece attaches. The instructions tell you which numbers are for the bottom, middle, and top sections. We sorted the pieces into three sections then put them in order. From that point, the assembly was very easy; there is no puzzle as to where the pieces go. Near the top where the tower narrows it is a bit more difficult to get the pieces to go together, but they do and all the pieces hold together well. The plastic is translucent so the light on the base shines through and the finished product is attractive.

The puzzle contained all pieces, nothing missing. It's turned out to be very attractive, very real like.. with different colour lighting options.. very good indeed.

Bardzo fajne puzzle, dziecko miało ogromna przyjemność ze składania. Do tego jest wieża ma podświetlanie, co wygląda efektownie.

Da ich außergewöhnliche Sachen mag die nicht jeder hat habe ich mir dieses Puzzle besorgt. Es gibt mehrere Bauwerke der Night Edition aber dieses vom Eiffelturm gefällt mir am Besten da dieses Bauwerk meiner Meinung nach einer der Schönsten ist. Habe es zu zweit aufgebaut, einer sortiert die nummerierten Teile der Andere steckt sie zusammen. Habe etwa 1,5 Stunden gebraucht wobei wir uns Zeit gelassen haben. Steht im Wohnzimmer und habe öfters die Beleuchtung eingeschalten und ist ein echter Blickfang. Insgesamt echt genial entworfen und umgesetzt. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Este super bonito, esperaba que fuera algo más difícil pero no. Aún así me gustó mucho el resultado. es fácil de armar por lo que un niño pequeño puede fácilmente.
