Saffron is a flowering herb that is used to enhance and enriching taste and aroma to many Meditranian and eastern cooking cuisines. Like all other ingredients, quality of a given herb makes a world of difference to overall finish taste of food, presentation and end product quality. For years I have used Saffron before but never have I experienced such a fresh and rich taste and aroma. Zaran saffaran product is by far the best I have experienced.

The quality of this Zaran Saffron is definitely impressive. The threads are long, deep red, and have a very potent aroma right after opening the jar. I used it for a seafood paella and a small amount was enough to give the dish a rich golden color and that distinct earthy flavor. The reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the price point. While the "Super Negin" grade is clearly superior, it is quite expensive for 2 grams. Also, the packaging is nice, but I wish the jar was a bit easier to seal tightly to preserve the freshness longer. Overall, if you are looking for premium saffron for special culinary occasions, this is a solid choice. Great flavor, just wish it was slightly more affordable.

Upon opening the box, the quality is immediately visible: the strands are long, thick, and beautifully intact with a vibrant, rich red color and lovely orange tips. The 2g weight feels substantial and accurate, filled with a generous volume of these magnificent strands. The aroma is intensely aromatic and floral—exactly what you hope for from high-quality saffron. I compared it side-by-side with another brand I had on hand (Zaran), and this one is noticeably superior in both appearance and fragrance. The strands are more robust and the color is more brilliant. This has easily become my new go-to saffron. I will definitely be buying this brand over any other from now on. If you're looking for authentic, top-tier saffron that delivers on its promise, this is the one to get. Highly recommended!

This is the real deal. I have been using this in a daily tea since January as an herbal medicine after looking into recent clinical studies. This is good quality authentic saffron. The tin keeps it completely dry even in humidity no need to worry about sticky strands.

Is not magic but surely feels like it. I think the size and value for my money was well worth it. This is going to last me at least 3-4 months. I take it every morning and since day 1 I have noticed a difference. I am way happier and hopeful and positive. I wish I would have known before. I highly recommend.
