Just enough light!
Love these lights! Just got them and installed. Worked perfectly and the light was just enough output that it did not wake my husband. Adhesive was sticky and easily adhered under the bed. This product far exceeded our expectations! We will be ordering for the guest bedrooms as well!

Work well and easy install
I bought this set after my 92 year old Pops took a spill coming back from a trip to the bathroom in the dark. They have skirts around the bed so there was no way to mount them there so I put one string under the dresser that faces the bed. The whole install took maybe 20 minutes. The motion sensor is really tiny so it's nice and discrete, but picks up motion quite well. The adjustable light level has good range and the three timer settings worked out well. The folks love it, getting to and from the bathroom is no longer a risky trip in the dark and it doesn't disturb the other person like a lamp would. I'd recommend them for anyone who needs a little light to navigate after dark. *EDIT* The folks have had this up for about a year now. and every time I call them (they live pretty far away) my pop's wife grabs the phone and thanks me for installing the lights, she says it literally changed her life as far as getting out of bed at night goes.Definitely a good solution for anyone, but fantastic for older folk for sure.

Look for something else to do the job.
This is a great idea, it is just not worth the time. It is junky and a real pain to setup. If you make any mistakes during install and/or removal, the strips are much to fragile and damage will occur. I will try to repair the item, but it only functioned for one sensor, the second one never worked properly or on a regular basis. The damage happened when trying to remove the light strips from the bed frame. My recommendation would be to acquire an led strip which is a bit more robust and easier to attach with screws, not tape.

Works great, adds a touch of elegance and safety
Product works great! Adds a touch of elegance and safety to the bedroom. Allows me to turn off all lights, but provides important lighting when needed.

Good product needs some refinement
I like the product. The LED strip was encapsulated like outdoor LED strips. What I do not like, is the plugs used. Either put the plugs on the back of the unit and have it hang down to allow them to be plugged in or provide 90deg plugs to reduce visible wiring. As shown, I ended up turning the unit sideways to reduce hanging wires. The plug when connect the wires to the power supply does not lock/secure. I ended up putting a piece of electrical tape to secure the plug and socket together so that it will not inadvertently come unplugged. Not recommended should you have little kids around that can get tangled up in the wires. The adhesive tape, was hard to work with. When removing the backing it pulled off the double sticky tape from the LED strip. I used a knife to slice the double sticking tape to allow it to stay attached to the LED strip when removing . Motion detection works along with the brightness settings.

Excellent product. It works well.
I installed this system on both sides of our queen bed a few weeks ago. It works exactly as advertised. I cleaned all the surfaces and it adhered to them well. The light band was attached to the bed frame facing down, with a dust ruffle hanging over that. The sensor was stuck to a quart mason jar full of rocks between the bed and the night stand (I didn't want to stick it to the wooden stand) and aimed down the side of the bed. The chords are long enough to reach where they need to. The rheostat works well and we have ours turned down quite a bit, so there is plenty of light if you really need it. I wish I had the installed years ago.

Mixed feelings
They work as advertised in the photos which is great, but there are some things which make them NOT suitable for use as an under the bed light... these are the sorts of things that should be fixed for it to be appropriate for an under the bed light as opposed to a motion activated light used elsewhere in the home. First as others have mentioned the mounting system is not going to work for 50% of the beds out there, it just will not attach very well. This is just regular double-sided tape, which is fine for under the cabined which is always going to be a hard surface, but that is not always true under the bed. Second, for an under the bed solution, the fact that it abruptly turns on/off -- and does not fade or dim can be very disruptive. If you trigger it accidentally, it can be bright enough to wake you up from sleep, and then right as your dozing back to sleep, the abrupt turn off can also be equally disruptive. Third, which makes the prior point more significant, is that in most installation locations (like what are shown in the instructions and photos, simply rolling over in bed from your side to your back or such can be enough to move the sheets so that the motion detector is activated, causing the lights to POP ON unexpectedly, causing disruptive sleep. It took us several nights of dealing with this before I discovered this is what was causing us to be more tired than normal during the day. Even with the dimmer set to the lowest setting it was still disruptive to our sleep to keep having the light triggered accidentally. So this will get moved to another part of the house, and NOT in the bedroom. If you have pets in the room, even just the cat walking by at night can trigger it... For this to really be suitable an underbed light should really have features such as : 1) Dim on/off 2) Improved motion sensor to reject false positive (cold sheets shouldn't trigger it), a certain amount of motion should be required to trigger it 3) A mount system that takes into account non-wood/metal bed frames/surfaces.

Just like the Pros Use
New bathroom remodel and I wanted to put a motion sensor light under the vanity because we stayed in a hotel that was recently remodeled, they had this feature in the bathroom and it was awesome. Now I did have them put an outlet down towards the ground near the vanity in anticipation of installing this lighting. This is 100% the way to go, using the LED adhesive string lighting. You want the light shining down onto the floor for a nice effect. Also, I believe the LED strip can be cut, the instructions did not say that though, I opted not to. I just ran it along the sides and front to use up any extra in length. Honestly, it was the perfect size for a 48 inch vanity. I liked that the motion sensor is separate from the lights. This allows you to get the motion sensor positioned pretty much anyway you need. In my case, it's so far under the vanity, I wanted it to hang down so it wasn't impeded path by the lip of the vanity around the edges. Once done, nothing is visible, just a nice warm hue of light. All the wires come with adhesive cable management devices, I pretty much used all of them so I didn't have to come back later and fix something later. The motion timer allows you to control brightness and set how long you want it to stay on for and that alone is fantastic. We have it on a low night time setting. We have it set to stay on for 30 seconds though we're considering moving it up to 90. I had other motion lights in my house that I tested and it wasn't long before I realized, this is absolutely the way to go. Love this product, now I'm looking for more places to put them.

Not adhesive
Not adhesive enough and is always falling off. The motion sensor is bulky and not very receptive. Once you get it installed properly it works great. You’ll need to buy 2 to cover a whole queen bed from both sides.
