LMNT Zero Sugar Hot Chocolate or Coffee Mixer - Chocolate Salt | Drink Mix | 30-Count

If you want electrolytes, are trying to watch your calorie intake and like a salted chocolate this one is for you. It’s not very sweet and admittedly it took a moment for me to get used to a salty hot chocolate, but now I find it to be a guilt-free treat after some cold weather exertion.

If you have POTS or some other medical condition where you need electrolytes these are a must! I've also used these for the carnivore (low carb) diet. They make me feel much better and chocolate salt is the flavor I can tolerate. I mix with hot water and to me they taste like a hot chocolate. You can make them with heavy cream, half and half, or even almond milk. I just prefer water.

I just started the keto diet, so I’m still craving carbs and sweets. This mix gets rid of my sweet tooth. It has a nice taste. I like the saltiness bc I like salted Carmel. If you’re not a fan of salted Carmel or chocolate, you might not like it. I like cold drinks, so I get a small cup of hot water to dissolve the mix and then add it to my ice water. If you don’t do that, it won’t mix well in cold drinks. Drinking this the first few days took away my keto flu symptoms. I’ve also tried the citrus , watermelon, and raspberry, but this chocolate Carmel one is my favorite. It is very sweet, which takes some getting used to, but oh well. I definitely recommend this to folks who are low carb and have a sweet tooth and like salted Carmel.

LMNT Hydration sticks are my favorite and the chocolate salt flavors did not disappoint. Hot water (not boiling) and 1 stick is a close hot cocoa. I enjoyed them mostly in the evening before bed. Definitely a routine keeper.

I have been using LMNT products for a long time now (October of 2022). I have tried a lot of the LMNT flavors. Some of the flavors I have attempted were like, "No thank you, not a taste I wish to support." But the "Chocolate Salt" reminds me of something my 10-year-old self would double-dog dare a friend or peer to try, just to see their face melt and see what insults their shocked mind could muster... you know, fun times for all when one is small and into mischeif. This particular flavor (again, Chocolate Salt) needs a zero-star rating; one star is several stars too many. This is the most foul-tasting product I have ever tried. After following the directions precisely and measuring everything out, I took a sip... wow, what a horrible taste. Does not taste like any form of chocolate that I have ever tried. Made my stomach a bit lurchy to boot. How has anyone actually enjoyed this flavor? As the title says, I am out $45 and the item cannot be returned. I might write LMNT and see if they can do me solid and send me a replacement or something, but that requires time and effort and frankly, I am a bit worn out. Think Bilbo Baggins said it best, "Like too little butter spread over too much bread." Be cautious and willing to not get your money back but maybe you will discover a taste that is right for you.

I did not expect to like salty chocolate electrolyte drink, but there is something oddly satisfying about it. I enjoy the balance of salt, sweetness, and chocolate. I've tried it warm and cold and both are good. My only complaint is I would prefer sugar to stevia extract. Artificial sweeteners always leave an unpleasant aftertaste, and this is no exception.

My daughter has POTS. This is the only product that helps her “feel normal”. She also loves the flavor. I wish it wasn’t so expensive though.

This is a great way to get electrolytes. I drank with about 8 oz hot water to make hot chocolate. I mixed it with a coffee frother, and it mixed very well and was smooth. I have to laugh at the reviews that say it's salty - YES -- THAT'S THE PURPOSE! The only negative is it's quite pricey.

The flavour is really not for me. I have tried both hot and cold and at different concentrations but I find this a lot harder to get down than some of my homemade electrolytes mixes. :( for the price I was expecting a lot better a bit sad can’t return
