Protect your ears AND enjoy the show
Impressed at how well these work. In a concert setting, they distinctly and drastically lowered the volume to comfortable levels all the while keeping the sound of the music really clear. It felt like listening to it without earplugs at all as if the volume of the concert had just been lower. This itself is the reason behind the 5 stars here. Meanwhile a person who came with me and used standard foam earplugs said he hadn't been able to hear any high note or any of the performer's spoken words or the crowd singing, and that a lot of the music was jumbled. In comparison, with these Loop Experience Plus earplugs, I heard everything and very clearly. (when he'd first seen the Loops, he'd laughed at them - considering the results he's not laughing anymore and wishes he'd taken a pair). And importantly, my ears were not ringing continually or very painful once I got home. They felt tired, definitely, as though I'd been in a house party room with very loud talk for hours, but hardly more. Of course this will depend on the volume of what you attend and how far you are from the noise etc, this is just one use case and yours might turn out differently. I had the mutes on for the opener band, and removed the mutes for the headliner. The mutes further help with noise reduction / ear protection but lowers the sound quality just a bit. It's still very good even with the mutes. Priority has to be ear protection to keep enjoying sound as long as possible, so compromises must be made; don't hesitate to keep the mutes in as they don't ruin the show. Note that if you are going to very long concerts, you might need earplugs with stronger protection ratings to keep your ears safe the whole duration, such as the Loop Switch 2 in Experience or in Quiet mode (HeadAdvisor rates the Switch 2 in Experience mode as much better for hearing protection and a bit better sound-wise than the Loop Experience 2, getting you four hours of safe loudness exposure instead of two with the Loop Experience 2. Worth considering. There is a downside to the Switch 2 which is comfort.) In a 'blocking noise at home / work' context, they also work very well, for example, I was trying to block out the sound of someone playing a sports video with bad audio nearby while not making it too difficult to hear if someone spoke to me - the result was that the attack of the sports video on my focus was reduced to nothing. They're easy to put on and take off. I use them with the Loop Link cord which is nice to not drop them. The mutes are VERY small and drop-able, a bit difficult to handle, but I don't see how else they could have done this. I have tiny ear canals and don't find any earplugs comfortable foam or otherwise, especially if it's for several hours. Some are tolerable (the Hearos nanos and Mack's slim fit for example). These Loop are no exception, but they're more comfortable than some past Loop models I've tried years ago. They're also much more comfortable than the Loop Switch 2 which I tried but didn't end up keeping because too uncomfortable. With the Loop Experience Plus, I felt no compulsion to rip them out of my ears so that's as good as it gets comfort wise for me. Oh, also, they're quite pretty Just wish somehow they had a protection level that came out as good in independent studies as that of Loop Switch 2. But I'm still leaving a five stars because they enabled me to enjoy 'mostly safely' a show that I really wanted to enjoy

Comfortable and useful!
I was wondering whether to get the Experience 2 instead of these. I am glad I chose these ones. My take: (1) They look awesome!!! With or without the mute. (2) They fit perfectly, the round polished stem is gentle with your ears. The plug heads are also very comfy. (3) They protect your hearing while keeping you into the action. The sound quality is not affected in a noticeable way and the volume is kept at a comfortable level. The Mute helps reducing the volume a little bit more, and you can easily change it if you want. (4) It comes with different plug heads (even foam ones, which I did not like, but depends on your preferences) and other accesories, so you can customize them as you need. (5) The case is practical and feels very well made just as the plugs. Note: If you happen to be a person that easily looses small things, I advise you consider the version that comes without the mutes, they are easy to loose. Also, they sell a safety cord to help you keep them safe.

Will never go to a concert again without them!
Stop scrolling and buy these. My partner and I are frequent concert goers. Last year I went to a Tool show and forgot my classic foam earplugs... that was a mistake. My ears were ringing for two weeks and I'm sure I did permanent damage. Since then, I've remembered to bring my foamies, but if we're being honest, they just muffle and muddle too much of the sound for my preference. I inevitably fuss with them and try to have them situated in my ear in such a way that some of the sound comes in, allowing me to better hear the full spectrum of music. Well, we had back-to-back shows coming up, and I wanted a better solution. After hours of research, I landed on the Loop Experience 2 Plus. Sure, there's modest dB protection, maybe not as significant as some other brands, but the customizability of silicon vs. foam, the addition of the mutes, and the promise that the fidelity of the music would be preserved was enough for us to give it a try. We were not disappointed, these things ROCK. Not only were we able to hear the high highs and the low lows, this also filtered out unwanted audience noise like background chatter. The noise protection was more than enough, and when we did find that things were getting a little loud, the mutes seemed to do the trick. My partner and I woke up the next morning delighted to not have that heavy feeling in our ears, no ringing, nothing. Lastly, they just look cool. Genuinely, didn't feel like dorks rocking some ear protection. So well done to the design team at Loop. Just buy these, you won't be disappointed.

Comfortable and work great
Friends could not hear well but I remained unaffected after the loud 4-hour indoor concert. My 60 year old self will thank me. I could tell the Loops only lowered the concert's volume and did not distort the sound. The removable mute is a nice feature although I was fine without them.

Pleasantly surprised, but not "crisper sound"
So I struggle between giving these 3 or 4 stars. If you compare them to a TRUE audio professionals ear plugs, like the ones made by Sensaphonics with Etymotic Research filters- you will be disappointed. That is what you need for true "crisper sound" and attenuation of sound without significant changing of the EQ curve that you hear. BUT- Sensaphonic customer ER series plugs are gonna cost you $200 for impressions + $200 for the plugs... so $400 ear plugs- then additional filters are $70 each pair. THAT SAID- they are 1000000% worth it if you are big time music, festival concert goer and not SUPER prone to losing expensive things. I say this having Sensaphonics for 14 years. However, I recently lost them (after 14 years, they had a good run!) and need a quick replacement. I tried these and although they definitely block sound frequencies more than others and can create a weird bass trap/proximity effect in certain situations they are a decent, albeit expensive substitute. 1) STYLE POINTS - I got silver and wear them like jewelry- the aesthetic and style is cool and i like it. Also because they are a bit nice and come with a case, I take more careful care of them. 2) FIT - I was surprised how well and easily these fit me. They come with a wide range of sizes of silicon inserts. They are highly adjustable for the hole size of your ear canal. The attenuation of them is less adjustable. 2.5 SPEED) Because of the fit, the speed at which I can put in and take these out AND they are effective each time is what sold me. Good Foam Earplugs, Like Howard Leights MAX-1 made by Honeywell are probably the most sound blocking/cheapest you can get, but to get the full effect, you need to put them in with a certain technique that can be annoying if you need to take them in and out a lot. Etymotic Research also makes a $15 pair that's nice (like Eargasm)- but I found getting the fit with them and getting them in and out is fine, but I didn't like the feel as much. Loops go in and out with the ease of Apple Airpods and fit as quickly and securely. They are also light and easy to wear for a long time. They provide enough ear protection for the average show. I found the "loop mute" is a nice bump but still isn't quite enough protection if I was at a REALLY loud show or working with heavy equipment. If that was the case I'd want the MAX-1 (-30-33dB) or Sensaphonics with the -25dB filters or even the full plugs (= -33-37Db) 3) CASE - minor- but worth noting. I think the case they come with is snazzy and fits in you pocket well. I also like the loop for a keychain. the main COMPLAINT is that if you take the mutes out, they just kind of free-flow in the case and will fall out if you forget they are in there and open the case to put your Loops back. So TLDR- For $44, they are pricey for what they are, but if you really like the aesthetic and ease of use- then it's worth it. Your ears are worth a lot more. But if you're already going down the road of more expensive hearing protection than $1 pair of foam earplugs, yea, Sensaphonics are 4-8x more expensive (if you include cost of impressions) but if you are a serious music person and want to keep your ear drums healthy for a long time without sacrificing music quality- check them out! - I'm not paid by them, I just can't say enough good things about their product. Honestly- as long as you don't loose them, say you go to 10-20 shows per year conservatively. In 3 years it'll have cost you less than a beer per show (~$6.66 ^_^) to keep your ears healthy and you music brain happy. Look into it! But in the meantime, the loops are a solid, stylish option.

Great for festivals!
I wore these Chrome Colored Loop earplugs to a recent music festival and I’m so glad I did! The 17 dB noise reduction was just right—it softened the volume without taking away from the music, and I could still hear everything clearly. I also used the mute option during especially loud sets, and it gave that extra level of protection I needed. They made the entire experience so much more enjoyable—no ear fatigue, no ringing afterward, just pure enjoyment of the music. Super comfortable to wear all day and they stayed in place perfectly. Stylish, effective, and absolutely worth it!

Best ones out there
These worked wonderfully at a concert I attended. Tons of scream-singing fans around me and it filtered the noise out a bit from the crowd, and I was able to hear the music more clearly. Also, it protected my ears from the damaging decibels. They also came with white mutes and black mutes. I prefer the look of the white mutes with the rose gold so I was stoked about that! I even use these same ones for a eustachian tube issue that I have where my ear continuously changes pressure. I pop one of these in and I don’t notice it as much. I also use these if I’m overstimulated and the noise is too loud, but if I still need to hear things, just more muted, I will take the mutes out. They are super cute when they’re in your ear too. The little shiny rose gold loop looks actually stylish. Much better than a traditional earplug for sure! The only thing I can really complain about would be the case. It has a little loop on it like you could attach it to a keychain, but I don’t trust the case to not pop open. So the loops are very high-quality and work wonderfully, but the case isn’t very good quality and should be redesigned to be more durable and safe as far as being less likely to pop open and lose your expensive loops. But even besides the little nitpicking about the case, I would buy these over and over and I recommend them to everyone. I bought my daughter the child version and they’re wonderful also. She loves the color too. I got her the purple ones.

Most comfortable earplugs on the market!
These earplugs are the best. With the multiple included tips, they fit well and are very comfortable. I used them every night at our local fair and they worked great to keep the sound at manageable levels during the rodeo, concerts, tractor pull, and demolition derby. The latter three were extremely loud (as evidenced by multiple noise warning by my Apple Watch) but not with these earplugs. My loops did an excellent job of toning down the loud noises while still allowing me to hear my friends and family that I went to these events with. I got a few compliments on my cute earrings. That was a nice touch. They are so much more comfortable than the cheap foam squish earplugs and look better too! They are a bit pricey but also last well using the handy included carrying case to store them in. I have both the engage and experience Loops models. I find that I most prefer the experience with the foam tips and mutes for most loud experiences such as the fair. The engage work well for everyday interactions where there is a lot of background noise. These are now my go to ear plugs. Highly recommend!!

Works as described, giving me the best concert experience.
Works as described! Wore these to a ONE OK ROCK concert, which is a Japanese rock band so I was expecting loud blaring music all night. The difference between wearing the Loop plugs and not were obvious - just after one song without them left my ears ringing so I had them on the entire night after that. No more ringing and I could still thoroughly enjoy the concert. Best concert experience to date!

Absolutely serve their purpose
Great quality - went to two indoor festivals wearing these: they saved my hearing from the far too loud music, I understood conversations perfectly well, and they stayed in the ears perfectly without moving or needing adjusting.

Perfect sound
Wonderful, I can finally go to see a movie at a cinema without it being too loud for me.
