Six pack of Zerust VCI Barrel Protector Tube, 0.20" fits 22's, 6 x 10ft = 60'

I’ve used Zrust products in the capsule and “chip” format for years with excellent results. It really provides outstanding rust protection. But this tubular format to slip into barrel is incredibly convenient and effective. Unlike the capsules or chips, there’s no problem with shifting around in your case or falling into the dark corners of your safe. Just slip into a clean barrel, cut to length (I leave an inch or two protruding from barrel to grab onto and as a visual indicator), and you’re good to go. This package is enough for at least half a dozen long guns or 15-20 pistols. Love that it concentrates protection on the most vulnerable and important surface of your gun, it’s bore, while still emitting vapor into the storage environment. Rust never sleeps, so this is great stuff.

This stuff is great for firearms in storage, safe, or just hung on the wall. Cut to fit, slid it into the barrel, and you're firearm is protected from rust. I keep the tubeing in all my firearms while there in my safe, even though, I have two (2) humidifiers in the safe. I live in a very humid area, and want take any chances of rust getting in and/or on my firearms. To me it's sacrilegious to have a rusty rifle, pistol, shotgun, or a knife, especially, with the calibre, and different types of lubs and preservatives that are available today.

Even though the %RH in my safe is under 40% I put these in the barrels of all my weapons. Easy to cut with scissors and when you take the weapon out, curl it up and put it in a ziplock bag. Inexpensive added prevention or at least to make you feel better about storage.

I trust that this will do the trick. You never truly know till that moment you remove you item from storage. It is either as pristine as first stored or a new club in your collection.

Great stuff, but it doesn’t fit a .22. The package even says it’s for .25!
