This is great for cruises. Clear - nice size -alarm. We use on our cruises. Last time we used magnetic hooks to hold it to ceiling so we could read it while laying in bed. (Did not have to sit up in bed to read it).

Very happy with this little clock. The size is perfect for a nightstand. Very helpful to have the dimming feature, so it's not too bright at night. The green color is very easy to read. It is simple to set the time, as well. I don't use it as an alarm clock, so I can't comment on that feature.

We did not experience any of the problems identified by others. It keeps good time, and the selection of brightness levels is suitable for bedside (not too bright). I suppose it might not be sufficiently bright for a sunny room, but it works fine for our intended purpose, which is an always-on bedside clock that is visible all night but not so bright to prevent sleeping. I took off one star because the controls for setting and dimming were not intuitive. If you follow the provided instructions, you can adjust dimming and set the clock. But without the instructions, I doubt anyone would guess the process. I used a brother label-maker to make a self-adhesive label with basic instructions and stuck it to the bottom. We chose the black case and it is attractive. We do not yet know how long the batteries will last, but in test mode, it ran several days without an y issued.

I literally searched for every available battery-operated digital alarm clock on Amazon. I believe this little gem is the only one whose digital brightness is "old-school" (like your 1990s cable box display bright) bright—meaning that it's 2 brightness levels are both totally unobtrusive (meaning NO eye-scorchingly artifically bright alien-like LED/laser show shine). These days you are very hard pressed to find a clock that has normal, old school, and rather pleasing brightness. The normal brightness of this clock is perfect, and even more perfect is the slightly dimmer second setting it offers. I can easily read the time from over 20 feet away...even though the actual size of the digits is probably less than an inch...the display reads clear as a bell, and the red color is easy on the eyes to see in the dark and daytime too. Overall size of this clock is really small, but it presents an elegant and minimal, and perfectly functional design. Final plus is that it uses two of the most ubiquitous type double AA batteries. Yah, in the good ole days this clock would have cost you $9.95 at the most...but it is what it is for 16 bucks now. I think it's a Win though so go for it if you want to avoid overbright cheap LED light and want a minimal design straight up alarm clock.

I bought this to replace a corded clock on my night stand because I wanted to reduce the cords I had on the stand. I like that it uses only 2 AA batteries. The buttons on the top are small but easy to press. It’s nice that you can press any buttons on the top of clock to turn off the alarm. The size is perfect - definitely small enough that you can travel with it. Even though it’s small, it’s easy to read. Really like this clock and recommend it.

Great little clock with a large bright number display. Picked the green color because it’s easy on the eyes during the night. Got this because switched to fiber optic cable which eliminates the cable box that always had the time display and I want to know what time it is when watching television. Battery operated so I don’t need another wire.

I knew I shouldn't hace bought it, but I did it anyway. More Chinese crap. Just wanted a battery operated digital clock where my TV is. It is a small living room. As you can see, the cable TV box number is clear, but the crappy clock on the right, is almost impossible to see. The reason for this is because red numbers are difficult to see on black backgrounds, esp. When the room is well lit or sunny. Mine is not and you still can't make out time. The cable box white numbers on black are easy to see. The other reason this clock is crap is because it's garbage. I wanted to avoid spending a lot of money for a digital battery op. Clock, but I'll have to.

Nice alarm clock. Attractive. Adjustable brightness. But I find it difficult to set alarm. Still use cell phone to get up.

Works great, tiny and lightweight. I have it in the family room (which is generally fairly dark) and it can be easily seen at a distance even on the dimmest setting (which honestly isn't much dimmer than the brightest setting). I think the complaints about not seeing it well are when the clock is in direct light or under very bright lights. When brighter light hits the display the entire screen seems to glow red and makes it difficult to see the numbers. I don't have any issues with the blinds open on a sunny day, but the sunlight never hits the clock directly. In most indoor settings I imagine this will work well. In a bedroom or darker room, it will be what you need. I liked this clock so much I just ordered another one for in the basement. [Edit: bought the clock at the end of Feb and didn't have to change the batteries until the end of September...so great battery life added to the list of things I like.]

Très contente de mon achat fonctionne avec 2 piles seulement et facile à régler avec les boutons sur le dessus....Je l ai acheté pour emmener en vacances c'est le reveil idéal car il est léger ! ni trop petit ni trop grand ! on peut même l utiliser tous les jours car il est joli et ne prend pas de place sur une table de nuit. très bien pour un enfant je vais en acheter un autre pour mon fils !

I have been looking for a bedroom clock for a long time and this fits the bill. It's powered by just two AA batteries and is dimmable at night so it doesn't light the room up and is simple to setup. Nice display and very portable. I do recommend this clock.
