BLUF: Comfortable, budget, flexible grilling gloves with good grip and mild heat resistance for indirect heat and general grill work—but they are not designed for direct flame contact or prolonged high-heat exposure. The gloves fit a wide range of hand sizes, especially medium through slightly large hands. There is an internal liner that appears to be made from a high-temperature, flame-retardant material. However, the exterior is cotton-based, which limits performance in direct flame situations. While repositioning a grill grate over a ~300°F grill, the cotton exterior burned through fairly quickly. The internal liner held up, but heat was felt. Grip is good and they work well for handling pots, grates, and grilling tools. They are particularly useful when using an electronic fire starter, keeping hands at a safe distance from the heat. The gloves are flexible, not overly stiff, and allow good hand movement.
