So far I really like these lights. Have only had them out of the box for 2 days to charge and they seem to be working well. Too soon to say how long they last or how long the remain in working order. Received on time and in good condition. Reasonable price.

Highly recommend!! I bought these a year ago and am so impressed at how they have lasted. I live in the northeast where temps go well below zero, and we have snow half the year. They have definitely weathered the elements! I put them on my cattle panel arches over my garden. They are still twinkling as good as when I bought them. Great product!

Great for driveway, border, deck, or fence areas with simple setup! UPS destroyed a couple of them and forced me to move the driveway strings further away. For the fence, I ran the string across the middle of the fence and they will stay lit all night after a sunny day. A cloudy day seems to limit the lights to about 6 hours. I also used them to test before installing permanent lights. Easy to move as needed and durable enough to withstand power washing of deck and neighborhood kids but no match for UPS trucks. Bright enough to see at 75 feet as a decoration and a decent safety light for pathways. For multiple sets on a long pathway, I vary the mode settings using blinking lights for some sections while keeping the others static or random. For my wooden fence, just secured the solar panel using drywall screws. The power cord runs about 6ft before connecting to the lights. Ran the lights under the middle boards to avoid snow cover in winter and provide a different look from the post lights that are motion activated. Changed the back yard appearance for a calm view from the deck.

Worked very well to light a safe path at night at our multilevel camping site. It's not good for fully illuminating the ground, but marked the path well. One thing I don't understand....it only turns on when it's dark. I could not figure out how to turn them on while it was daytime, which, at first, led me to believe I had bought a dud product. Maybe I'm using it wrong? I don't know. But it did the job I bought it for. I really like the "twinkling" setting. I like the warm white light that's a bit on the yellow side. It doesn't take up a lot of space when coiled up. The 'rope' is much thinner than I expected.

I installed these along my walkway and they turned out way better than I expected. The brightness is perfect — not too harsh, but enough to clearly light the path at night. Setup was super easy. No wiring, no hassle — just placed the solar panel where it gets sunlight and run the rope along the edge. They automatically turn on at night, which is a big plus. I’ve had some rain lately and they’ve held up great, so the waterproofing seems legit. The rope design also makes them look clean and organized compared to regular string lights. Overall, solid quality for the price. Makes the yard look way nicer and safer at night. Definitely recommend if you want an easy, solar-powered lighting solution.

Get these lights! I ordered and wrapped around the trees in my front yard and back yard. Let me tell you, these lights are great! Charged by solar and go above and beyond by staying on even as the sun comes up… I’m picky and these did not disappoint

The Brightown Solar Rope Lights work beautifully and 39FT was enough to meet what I wanted to do with them. Just be sure when you turn them on for the first time to push the "on" button hard and until you hear and feel it click. The button for setting the display (rapid, flashing, steady on, etc.), pushes and clicks very easily, but the "on" button takes a lot more and extended pressure to actually click on, so don't give up.

Update 8/29/25: seller contacted me to assist in resolving the issue with a replacement/refund, sending a new set of lights. Customer service grants 4 Stars, so hopefully this one was a dud and the replacement will work as expected. TBD Original: It took too long for me to take them out of the box and set them up for the first time, so I can't return them. I set them up, let them charge all day, pressed the not convenient on button at the solar panel. They turned on for a second before turning off. No matter how much sun and how many times I mash the button, they haven't turned back on since. The button being outside of the gazebo makes it extra frustrating, since I have to go out to it. They looked nice when they actually worked for that 1 second anyway... 😤
