I really liked these EcoNour sunshades. The kit comes with four pieces—two lighter and two darker—designed specifically for car side windows. I make many trips through the Mojave Desert and this summer I was able to put these shades to the test. The suction is great and they stay in place no matter what the orientation is on your vehicles windows. The sun is very intense while driving through the desert and I find that placing one of the darker shades on the opposite window helps with glare and heat. There were other comments on the safety of using the darker shades and that is purely subjective on several factors. Use common sense when deciding which one to use. Another point I want to clarify is that there is a small amount of obstruction using these and it is more based on the perimeter of the shade than the actual darkness factor. These can easily be placed on any window without obscuring your view. Use prudence when placing them on the "front" drivers side and passenger side of the vehicle. The shades also clean up very well and retain their suctionability and foldability. They store easily in your glove compartment and I would recommend having a set in each of your vehicles like I do! UPDATE: May 19,2024. Ok, so it's been several months since I wrote my review on the EcoNour Car Window Shades and I'm happy to say I'm very satisfied with the performance. I've had several trips through the desert and other areas where the sun constantly beats down on my vehicles windows. I'm very pleased with the results and the product itself is very durable. I should mention that they work better when the inside of your windows are clean. Also, I've cleaned the surface several times and that does help with the adhesion factor. One last thing that I'd like to point out is that when using these shades they noticeably keep the temperature in your vehicle cooler while driving through warm areas. That was a pleasant bonus that I didn't even think of....duh! UPDATE: July 6th 2024 I had to make one more update on this product just so you’ll know that I’ve put these through the test. The temperature hit 115f while driving through the desert and the shades were on the sun facing side for a good 2 hours. They did not budge or come loose during the drive. If you haven’t already purchased these, please don’t wait any longer and buy a set for all your vehicles.

I feel they could be slightly bigger. They're light, easy to use, and seem to be of a better quality than previous buys. I like that they stick to the windows rather than go over the door or are held on by magnets. Visibility isn't the greatest. Two covers are see-through and two are thicker which I can't see out of at all. I remove them before driving. I do like the darker, thicker covers and think they'd make great blackout screens. As to the ones I have, I'd like more window coverage as it helps keep my vehicle cooler and a bit more comfortable.

I just received these shades that I bought for a car trip to Fla with my dog. They work great. He has the whole back seat to himself and occasionally sits in front. I put them on both back windows driving South. I still had 2, so I put them just lying on the dash board and it reduced the heat that comes up on your face while driving. When out of the car, I put one on dash and over the steering wheel which greatly reduced the heat on the steering wheel. So easy to install. I highly recommend this product. Driving North, still one on each back window and one on passenger side front.

To be fair the seller does state this but I really wish it was more like window tint that you could easily remove and store during the daytime. I would describe this item as being piece of plastic that does not reduce light and is a bit blurry that is covered with black pantyhose and sown to a thin wire frame. I am a truck driver and over the past few years it has become more and more difficult to drive at night as more vehicles on the road have those terribly bright LED headlights. People seem to think that because we don't have a rear window it is fine to leave their high beam on and sit just behind us in the passing lane. People do not understand that the large mirrors we have on our trucks dirrect far more light than what you get in a car. The longer the vehicle sits there, the harder it becomes for us to keep the truck centered in the lane which in turn causes them to sit there longer. Please just go by us!! Also there is no need to flash your high beams at us before passing. Trust me, we know you are there. So this is why I purchased this item. It does help to reduce brightness but it does make everything blurry. When I use them I only feel comfortable doing so on the highway. I stop and remove them once I exit the highway because you can't really see the tandems when making a turn and you definitely should not use them in a yard. They do stick to the window very well so long as you keep the plastic and your windows clean. I only use them at nighttime and this review is only for the two blinds that let some light through. I have never used the darker set. Hope this helps.

These are the best . Sometimes your visor is not low enough get the sun in your face or it is coming thru a gap. This does not look like it will block it but it totally does. The larger ones are great when I need the sun off my shoulders. They are so easy to use . They just stick right on and just peel off when done with them . I keep them in a bag in my car for storage. Great for summer hot months.

Received the shades today and noticed it’s got a large tear due to how it’s sewn. Quality issue. It’ll likely come apart after a few uses but will keep since I have an upcoming camping trip and need them for shade. If it weren’t for the time constraint, I’d return. Plus for around $16, I’m not gonna worry too much about expecting a high end shade. It’s possible I just happen to receive a bad batch. If you do get this, inspect the sewn edges first.

Great shade and work very well to keep seats cool. Super easy to use and quite stretchy, fit over a range of different sized seats. Have held up very well and well worth the price!

I purchased these for our recent road trip from Toronto to South Carolina. They were amazing. They worked great and most importantly, not one complaint re the sun from our two teenage rear passengers. Easy to apply, no worries about the shades flying off like I had with other devices that clip shades onto the windows. There are two strengths: super dark for back seats and more transparent for the front seats. Those still did a great job.
