I recently purchased Baruing Baru nuts from Amazon, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with the quality and taste of these nuts. As an avid nut enthusiast, I have tried various brands and types of nuts, but Baruing has managed to stand out in terms of both flavor and freshness. The first thing that caught my attention was the packaging. The nuts arrived in a sturdy, resealable bag that kept them well-protected during transit. This attention to detail ensured that the nuts remained fresh and crunchy, even after opening the pack multiple times. When it comes to taste, Baruing Baru nuts are in a league of their own. These nuts have a unique and distinct flavor profile that sets them apart from other nuts I've tried. They have a rich, buttery taste with a hint of sweetness, making them incredibly addictive. Each nut is perfectly roasted, enhancing their natural flavors without overpowering them.

I heard about these from my adult son. I was looking for a high protein nut and he suggested Baru nuts. I'd never heard of them, but decided to order a bag from Baruing. The texture is different from most nots. They have an edible outer shell that reminds me of coffee beans or a sugar coated nut, but there's no sugar. Once you apply a little pressure with your teeth, the nut cracks and is chewable. Not the kind of nut that you eat by the handful, like peanuts. But eating 1 or two at a time is quite nice. Through in the high protein and other nutrients and it's a winner in my opinion.

I found the peeled nuts to be the best, excellent flavor and fresh. I've bought other brands and sometimes got nuts that weren't fresh, but these are. However, I found the flavor of the unpeeled ones (the description for the unpeeled is "roasted") to be fairly bitter, more bitter than other brands. So, five stars for the unpeeled ones, but not rating the unpeeled because I think it's a matter of taste, and the nuts do seem to be quite fresh. ---Updated review: In the past, these have been excellent, but now I am not as satisfied. I've bought a couple of packages since the initial review and they arrived stale and rancid. When they are fresh, the peeled ones are so good, but when they arent' they aren't. The package I received today (Dec. 30, 2023) says "best until May 23 2024" so apparently they were packaged when they were already bad. Disappointed in the quality control.

The texture is a little weird at first, kind of taste like a mix between a peanut and almonds. It's pretty good, low saturated fat and a good snack for people trying to cut back on unhealthy snacks.

We wanted to like these because we read how their sale supports poor areas in the Amazon (the real one). The appearance and quality seem very good and they were fresh. Some may find that they taste like dried peas with the faintest hint of almond rather than the given description.

Baru nuts can become stale very easily - these are fresh! And the ones with the fruit is a nice touch! Takes a minute to get used to, like sweet Melba toast

Excellent seeds (not sure why they are called nuts, because they’re actually seeds.) anyhow, the quality and taste is excellent!
