Always well packed and wrapped from "Wolfman". A seller that really does make an effort to ensure your pellets reach you in the same condition they left the shop. As to the pellets these actually aren't bad for the price and more than good enough for backyard or back garden six yard practice and plinking. See the six yard, ten shot, with a BSA .177" Airsporter Mk 1 shot from the sitting, unsupported, position.

After reviewing Umarex Cobras the other day I was needing a bit of boost - you know, you get a new tin of pellets, try them out only to walk away thinking you're a lousy shot, when in fact it's the pellet, or the pistol or the scope that needs attention. These Excite Hammers, made me smile again! They were pretty clean in the tin. Very few bad skirts even though there with - which was not from the letterbox drop this time; they were put in straight into my eager paws.. At 7.87gr they are an ideal weight for a CO2 pistol. Here, to keep things consistent, I used my Gamo PT85 (full blowback), same Gamo red dot scope and same distance of 11 meters. First splatter target gave me my desired boost straight away. You can see from the grouping that these Hammers are a better breed than the Cobras from the other day. With a new CO2 bulb the trajectory whipped up and they spread high on the bulls-eye target. On the white and black silhouettes the gas evened out more and I began to see more consistent grouping, though not as good I can do. Pellets not to blame that time! The short video shows better how good these pellets are: I was especially pleased with my last two shots on the bottom red splatter circle. Ha! POA=POI! Looking at penetration I brought out a Plasticine rat. Almost twice as dense as the body of a live rat (1.9gm/cm3 as opposed to 1.06gm/cm3) I'd venture that the head (which was, no lie, the first shot!) and chest shots would be killers in a live shoot. For the record I got a maximum 1181.7 fps (I couldn't hardly believe it myself) a minimum of 371.8 fps at the end of a CO2 bulb, with the chronied average of 567.3. I reckon with a wash and some pellet lube you'd get that well above 600 fps. Average ME was around the 3 ft/lbs mark. I'll try these in some other guns soon - as a pest control pellet in a PCP I am certain they'll be awesome. Overall, I'm really well pleased with the Hammers. A definite repeat buy.
