I bleached my curly hair twice, did a bleach bath then dyed it. It was too dark so i did an apple cider vinegar rinse and two rounds of clarifying shampoo with baking soda to get it out. Obviously this dried the hell out of my hair. I got this mask and put it on before bed, put a cover on it and rinsed it when i woke up. My hair feels very soft, my curls are still alive and it feels healthy. Very moisturizing, smells nice, not too heavy. Definitely recommend

Despite what other reviews said about having white chunks, my masque was fine. It smells subtle and gourmand. It made my kinky/curly hair feel soft, silky, shiny and moisturized. It slipped through my hair and made it easy to detangle. Plus, the ingredients look cleaner than other hair masks I’ve used in the past.

My hair was really damaged and shedding a lot before I started using this mask. I’ve been using it consistently for a few weeks now, and I can honestly say it made a big difference. My hair sheds way less and feels so much stronger. The moisture and slip are amazing too. Definitely worth it if your hair needs help!

I did a lot of research before buying a new hair mask because it seems like a lot of companies now like to add products into masks that are drying or harmful to hair. I have always thought shea moisture products go above and beyond. With that said, I bought this mask because of the keratin, coconut oil, and other proteins that are hydrating and repair hair at all levels. This mask made my hair (type 1b) very moisturized, strong, and smell great. It is easy to use and rinsed out well. I did not have to use a ton of product either, so this will go a long way. The price is unbearable and the ingredients are that of which no other mask can compete with. I would recommend to anyone looking to moisturize hair, prevent/repair damage, and freshen up their locks.

I have been shopping around for a lot of deep conditioners/hair masques (they are the same thing if you were wondering), and for me, this has produced the best results for my hair. I have used deep conditioners that have damaged my hair, produced no change in my hair, and have produced positive results for my hair. This one reigns supreme in my particular case. I have medium porosity hair, which leans towards the dry side. I use this once a week, for half an hour. I recommend putting a plastic shopping bag or similar item over your hair while you let the product work it's magic. This will trap the heat in your head and hair which will open up your hair (similar to how heat opens up your pores on your skin) and allow the product to enter your hair better. My hair has become softer, visibly more moisturized, and it maintains it's curls much better (I am someone who is trying to make my hair curlier using natural products). Use this product consistently for several weeks (along with a leave in conditioner) and you will notice an improvement in your hair. I will say this, I find the scent of this product to be very pleasant, however, the smell is definitely reminiscent of play-doh. Do kids still play with play-doh? It is a milder scent, and if you use other hair products like leave in conditioner, you will most likely not be able to smell it after you wash it out. But I guess if your nose is extremely sensitive to any semblance of play-doh, then you may need to pass on this amazing product.
