A nice mid-range card for upgrading an older system with
This was bought to replace the 1GB AMD Radeon HD 6770 and I'm more than happy with the difference in performance. It is fitted to an ASUS P8H61-M LE/USB3 revision 3.0 running BIOS version 4601. The PSU is a CoolerMaster 460w unit that came with my Elite 331 Case. I checked to see if it could take the new card (along with my PC's other components) using their PSU calculator before purchasing. I'd recommend anyone else do the same. In the box you get a case sticker, VGA adaptor, instructions for fitting the card and a driver CD. The card itself in addition to being well wrapped to prevent static comes fitted with plastic covers to protect the PCI-E, SLI connection and DVI-D output. Overall I'm happy to recommend this card for upgrading or building a new system. It is well made, reasonably quiet in operation and power efficient. There is some coil noise but it isn't intrusive when you have sound from the game playing over the speakers.

Great upgrade for the 1080p gamer if your system doesn't warrant the 980s.
My Son the gamer is generally impressed by this card. It runs most games that he's got "perfectly", on a single 22 inch monitor on DVI at 1080p full screen at 60+ FPS. That's on an intel i5 3470 3.20 GHz with 8 Gb 1600 MHz, which is getting on a bit now and relatively under spec'ed. It replaced an Nvidia 650 and is noticeably an improvement on that in every game with both better frame rates and higher settings. The next upgrade will be a full processor/motherboard/ram swap which this 960 graphics card will probably survive. The 960 runs on one six pin power cable which is a standard lead coming off the loom from the power supply so no extra lead required. The 960 is a double width card so occupies two slots on the motherboard. It runs silent which means very quiet in real world use. What's real world use? these games: Watchdogs [40 fps] / Witcher II Assassin of Kings / Batman Arkham City / Bioshock Infinite / Transformers WFC / Titanfall / Assassins Creed IV Black Flag / TFT 2 [only 30 fps on new maps!] / Mortal Combat 9 Drops a star because still struggles with fps in some games, though this is probably the rest of the system. Oh yes, update your drivers after install. Not played with the overclocking aspects, yet.

Fantastic Card
Fantastic card... It's a dramatic improvement from my old Asus HD 6670 don't get me wrong that would play any game on at least low... This card is so silent even under load and can play just about any game on High/Ultra with a decent FPS. Cheap and reliable card highly recommend it! My specs Amd FX 8120 8 GB 1TB / 64GB SSD 960 GTX 750W Asus M5A99X Evo (Not R2)

Here I go again!
Every time I read a Graphics card review most people seem to say that this card is fantastic and runs everything at 60 fps with all the slider full up! They even said this for my ageing card 4 years ago.( NVidia GTX 560 for my Microsoft flight simulator x. The 560 runs at 10fps or less in EGLL UK2000 and about 14fps 'in the air'! ) Nevertheless, on the strength of your reviews I've just ordered an Asus 960 GTX to replace the old card so I have my fingers crossed. I'll update this when I have tested it. AMD Phenom 11x4 956 3.4ghz WINDOWS7 4GB Ram

Great for price
Great size, price and performance. It fits well in my case which is small. Not too expensive. Maxed out most of my games at 1080p. Don't listen to people who say spend the extra in a 970. Keep the extra money for some games or some other PC parts

Straight away swapped for an AMD/ATI Card and works fine!
Installed Driver - Reboot and Black Screen! Google'ed the issue and found a 35 Page Topic on NVidia's website regarding this issue, without a fix. Straight away swapped for an AMD/ATI Card and works fine!

Save up for the GTX 970
Although a great graphics card, it doesn't hold up very well with the brand new AAA titles like Fallout. Yeah sure you can get medium settings with a great frame rate but even then you get lag spikes in some places. If you want a card for counter strike, Rocket league or the newly released alpha Squad then this is a perfect card. 2gb's of vram just isn't enough I'm afraid, no idea where they were going with releasing this with 2gb's would of gone for a cool 3gb's

Potente, effeciente e bella!

Best Card Below 18K
I recently assembled a PC with AMD FX-8320 and this card plus 8GB RAM and ASUS 970-D3SP mobo. I have an older Dell HD (not full HD) monitor. I'd chosen this card primarily for gaming and the results are spectacular. I'm getting 50-55fps on Ultra/Very High settings on FarCry 4, AC Unity, Crysis 3, Metro Last Light, Diablo 3 and a good many other games. I'm planning to try out GTA V and Tomb Raider soon so you can be expect this review to be updated very soon. I could go on about the awesomeness of this card but that's something others have done in detail. Rather, I'll relate a few problem I faced - THE ISSUE I faced was that the card refused to accept drivers except the basic Windows ones. I'd checked all connection carefully and reseated the card more than once. My motherboard doesn't come with integrated graphics, nor does my processor. It was obvious that the card was working but not working the way it was supposed to. Even DirectX didn't install properly, meaning no game could run. Eventually I had the card replaced. Amazon was prompt in accepting my request and delivered the replacement well on time. The moment I installed the card physically and booted the comp, voilà! Drivers mysteriously installed, DirectX moved to v 11 (on Win7 64bit) and games ran as smooth as butter. Problem solved! Yet I wonder what would have been the solution had the replacement period expired. Something to note if you have a similar problem. A second qualm I had was regarding the connectors. There is no VGA port at the back and if your monitor is old like mine, it won't have HDMI support. ASUS helpfully provides a converter but they could simply have integrated the port into the chassis itself. These aside, I have no complaints. The fan never reaches more than 60 degrees Celsius with fans at around 80% so I believe things are under control. Mind you I've not installed any but the one fan that came with my cooler master cabinet. Lastly, its extremely quiet. I may be biased because my processor stock cooler sounds like a jet engine but point is, the GPU doesn't add to the noise. Verdict ? If you've got a budget of 18K for GPU go for this card or wait till the new gen AMD R9 reaches this price bracket. Also, I'd advise you to look for periodic deals - I got mine at 15K which really is a steal.

A really great GPU! Go for It!
i bought this gcard as an upgrade for my 750ti. It meets almost all my needs. Its a really great GPU and with it I can run games like GTA 5,Far cry4,Watch Dogs at very high or ultra settings at 1080p. This card also runs very cool and quiet too. You can barely hear the fan and the temperature always stays below 55c even under full load. I have not yet come across a game that can't be handled well by this GPU. The only problem I found it with was that the driver CD that came with it ws not working. But you can lways download that from the internet. Final Verdict: A really great high performance middle class GPU for those who are on a limited budget.
