Travel Plug Redesigned How did you come up with the idea for this product? Powercube was founded by Yixia Jiang and Arthur Limpens, two industrial design engineers from the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. Travel plugs are expensive, you use them once and they sit in your suitcase for the rest of the year. They only have one port and you can only use one device at a time. The Powercube founders designed and built a solution. What makes your product special? The PowerCube is a modern reinvention of the travel plug - it can be used worldwide, offers several ports to power or charge several devices simultaneously, plus USB ports capable of charging an iPad. Also the PowerCube ReWireable comes with a worldwide standard receptacle (fused for max 10A). Just bring your PowerCube ReWireable to any country, plug in an old computer cable and turn your PowerCube into a “travel” extension cord.
