Doidy Cup - The Healthy Way to Learn to Drink from a Cup

If you (and your child) want to practice drinking from a "big girl/boy" cup, then this is an excellent starting point. I purposely bought this in a bright colour, different from my child's sippy cups to try and remind her that this one needs to be handled with care (my floor still gets covered in water, but she is 14months - you kinda expect mess!!) I noted that the packaging also says that this cup is good for elderly or people with restricted movement or coordination. I hadn't considered this but a very good solution to aid drinking. This is a good design and a great price.

We bought these cups in 2012 when we started to wean our first son. They are great to use from an early age. The titled angle means that they can see what they are drinking. The handles are easy for little fingers to grasp. They are easy to clean and microwave-safe; we still use them for warming up milk for our 3-y-o. My only gripe with them is that they don't stack very well.

Great for skill-teaching - better than any other ‘sippy’ cup we’ve tried. It only took a couple of weeks and she was sipping beautifully from it without support. It’s also really durable - it has taken plenty of knocks and falls but is still going strong! However, she’s 9.5 months and only just starting to grip one of the two handles properly (she started using it at 7 months).

The Dioidy Cups are an excellent introduction to drinking from cups. The slanted design and handles are perfect of helping little ones learn to use a cup without spilling it everywhere. I only put a small amount of water in at a time at meal times but my son loves drinking from this and is getting very steady when drinking from it. I gave brought another one now to keep in his bag to take out and about with us.

I bought this for my 7 month old as since she's started weaning she's not wanted a bottle or a cup. We've been through a lot of different cups! She refuses them all and we're struggling to get baby milk or any kind of liquid down her. I got it same day delivery. Washed it and gave my daughter some juice in it. We managed to get a quarter of a cup of juice down her.. and she opened her mouth for more! I would highly recommend this! We did have to keep her hands occupied as she likes to grab things.. and I don't really want her tipping it everywhere 😂. But it is absolutely amazing how she took to it instantly after being through various different beakers and cups.

Good product, but my 1-year-old doesn't find this any easier to drink from than her other (normal) cup. We've been using it for six months, and while my daughter uses it without spill inn too much, she does the same with her other normal cup, so I'm not user it's made any difference to us (I have friends who swear by these, hence the buy!) It's great quality though, and the colour (turquoise) is very bright and beautiful even after six months of daily usage.

I bought this after my breastfed baby struggled with taking a bottle and sippy cup and it's brilliant. She loved it! She's a little older now so doesn't use it as much but it's a genius design and would definitely recommend. Just to bear in mind, she'd refuse to have milk out of it when I was around but if I wasn't there she had no qualms drinking milk from it.

This cup is great for babies / toddlers learning to use a cup for the first time. The handles make it easy to hold and the slopes edge makes it easier for them to drink from it. It’s still a messy process teaching them to use the cup but they get the hang of it pretty quickly. It’s easy to clean and cute colour too!

Apparentemente utile, in realtà è facilissima da rovesciare a causa della sua forma e perciò la mia bambina si fa costantemente la doccia con il contenuto della tazza ogni volta che la usa al punto che l'ho dovuta riporre! Ora usa un comune bicchiere di plastica. Sconsiglio vivamente l'acquisto.

Llevamos meses usándolo y nos encanta. Muy recomendable!

Dies ist unser zweiter Doidy Cup, das grosse Geschwisterchen hatte auch schon einen, daher haben wir schon viel Erfahrung sammeln koennen. Mit dem Doidy Cup lernen die Kleinen das selbststaendige Trinken und koennen schon ganz alleine an Familienmahlzeiten teilnehmen. Das staerkt das Selbstvertrauen und das Zugehoerigkeitsgefuehl. Durch die Griffe ist der Cup gut zu halten und durch die besondere Form geht wenig daneben beim Trinken. Trotzdem lernen Kinder, dass sie aufpassen muessen und ihnen wird nicht wie bei diesen Stehauf-Tassen oder Schnabeltassen die Lernerfahrung genommen, dass man seine Tasse sorgfaeltig hinstellen muss und dass es eben auch vorbeifliessen kann beim Trinken. Zudem ist der Doidy Cup sehr leicht, ideal fuer kleine Esser. Wir wuerden ihn immer wieder kaufen!

Meine Kleine verweigert jede Art von Schnuller und Plastiksauger. War kein Problem, solange sie voll gestillt wurde. Aber seit der Beikosteinführung führte es dazu, dass sie zu wenig Flüssigkeit aufnahm und Probleme mit dem Stuhlgang bekam. Wir haben vieles versucht: verschiedene Fläschchen und Trinklernflaschen, unterschiedliche Saugerformen und -materialien, diverse Flüssigkeiten. Aber nicht mal Muttermilch wollte sie aus der Flasche akzeptieren. Normaler Becher klappte auch nicht - vielleicht weil sie nicht richtig sehen konnte, was auf sie zukam. Dieser seltsam geformte Becher war Zufallsfund, Verzweiflungstat und Durchbruch in einem. Was so lange nicht klappen wollte, gelang auf Anhieb - meine Tochter trank! Und das nicht wenig. Schon beim ersten Versuch - bin immer noch begeistert. Natürlich geht auch was daneben, aber am Stuhlgang kann man gut sehen, dass sie jetzt genug Flüssigkeit bekommt. Sie kann den Becher auch gut halten, was aber wohl nicht allen Kindern gelingt. Sie sieht beim Trinken, dass etwas drin ist und verlangt von selbst danach. Gut ist auch, dass der Becher BPA-frei ist und sich gut reinigen lässt. Keine lästigen Sauger zu putzen, und Spülmaschine und Dampfsterilisator sind auch kein Problem. Wer ein Flaschenkind hat, wird ihn wohl nicht brauchen - da tut es vermutlich jede Trinklernflasche. Aber allen anderen kann ich ihn nur empfehlen!
