Swiss Espresso Special Descaler

UNMATCHED BRAND LOYALTY AND LONG-TERM MACHINE PRESERVATION THE FOUNDATION OF MACHINE LONGEVITY: Once I am convinced of a product's quality, my loyalty to that brand remains absolute. Having used fully automatic coffee machines since the mid-1990s, I have found Durgol Swiss Espresso liquid descaler to be my definitive choice. The proof of its efficiency is undeniable: my current DeLonghi Magnifica was purchased in 2014 and continues to perform flawlessly today, a testament to proper, rigorous maintenance. MAXIMIZING PERFORMANCE AND BEANS: When you understand your machine inside and out, you gain the ability to dial in the grind settings and dosage perfectly. With a well-maintained system, I can pull a superior espresso even from budget-friendly options, like my standard strength-5 Lidl blend or their Italian Week specialities, outperforming expensive premium brands like the red Illy. Proper care is the deciding factor; a machine left behind with my late ex-wife was entirely ruined within six months solely due to a lack of regular descaling and cleaning. VERSATILITY AND A COFFEE ENTHUSIAST'S WISH: Durgol also keeps my portable Nespresso machines in pristine condition during extended travel. While Amazon offers the best value for this descaler, my only remaining wish is for Amazon UK to stock the iconic Trieste-based Hausbrandt coffee brand. Until those classic, full-bodied Italian roasts become readily available here, my ultimate advice stands: protect your equipment with Durgol, master your machine's parameters, and always keep an eye out for the Hausbrandt logo when travelling through northern Italy or Slovenia.

Simple to use, cleaned my Lavazza Modo Mio just fine with 20/25 Mins. Happy with product.

Very easy to use and I think it works quite well. Good for the price and doesn’t have any bad odours or residue on the water tank.

Okay, so I am extremely lazy, and I can't even lie about it. I bought my quick boil kettle sometime around 2011. She has done me proud, and I am surprised that she is still going, especially since this is the first time I have descaled her. For the last year or so, I have had to use a tea strainer because the lumps of chalk coming out of my kettle resemble the White Cliffs of Dover. I'm embarrassed to say that for at least two years, I have worried about how loud my kettle was, considering it resembled an F-15 during takeoff. This evening, I finally got around to descaling my kettle after ordering this descaler yesterday. My neighbors probably hate me because my kettle has been running constantly for about the last 45 minutes. However, after listening to some very interesting bubbling and straining out enough chalk to make local schools consider going back to using a chalkboard, I can honestly say my kettle has never sounded better. This is absolutely down to the wonderful power of this descaler, and I 100% recommend it for anything limescale-related.

This is a little cheaper than the dolce gusto cleaner but does the job just as well.

Excellent coffee machine lime scale cleaner. Bought a couple of times. So easy to use and works perfectly

Noticeable difference after cleaning. Better rate of flow and froth. Would have given 5 stars. I think its a bit pricey

I thought two bottles would do two cleans but it’s two for one clean. Otherwise they are fine.
