Is this paper suitable for professional quality/grade printing? I want to send off some CVs and cover letters (resumes) to employers.

I'm no expert but I would think this would be fine for your needs. It is twice the thickness of standard paper and I use it for copying sheet music.

Is this card acid free?

Sorry, really have no idea. It served the purpose I bought it for i.e. order of service cards. Suggest you buy card that is certified acid free
