Purchased this to replace another aerial Performance is much poorer than my existing one in exactly the same position. Have tried various locations but it became quickly apparent the quality is much poorer than what I'm accustomed to. So I'll continue to use to use the old one, which works quite well. Unfortunately I foolishly threw away the packaging so am unable to return this. This device will soon be joining the packaging in the bin

I use this on the steel roof of my narrow boat and the magnet hold it in position well. As to performance it functions ok but does seem affected by bad weather. Obviously the location makes a huge difference and as my mooring is surrounded by high trees I’m hardly surprised by this. In good weather the signal is fine but it is very inclined to drop out in the rain which is annoying. I only hope that when in a more open location that I will get better reception, let’s wait and see!
