These PL-259s are not bad for what they cost.
I needed a few PL-259s in a hurry for patch cable that isn't going to be permanent. These are not Amphenol, but they are not half bad. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality, considering what I paid. Amazon had them on my doorstep very quickly, and that was when I needed them, quickly. All things considered, these were a great purchase.

Works with LMR400DB
I used these connectors to terminate a couple runs of LMR400DB that I ran between the house and the shack. These were surprisingly easy to work with and fit perfectly with the LMR400DB and its big fat solid copper center conductor. I crimped the center pin and it feels very solid. Added bonus, the heat shrink they provide will fit over the entire PL-259 connector so you can add them on after you crimp.

Got these, because my son and I was going to need them, but didn't after all. will hold onto them.

Good connectors
Pretty rock solid connectors, I use a hydraulic crimper, gives me factory style crimps which do not pull out ever. Hand ratcheting crimpers work good but will not compare with a hydraulic crimper. I silver solder my center pins and then crimp and heat shrink.
