The barbed hose ID connection fits inside the hose and has a greater hold than non-barbed connections. Brass provides corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability, This plug's maximum working pressure (MWP) is 1,700 pounds per square inch (psi) (115.65 bar) at 70 degrees F, and the valveless construction and straight through design provide maximum flow with minimum pressure drop. It is used for hydraulic applications in industrial operations.
