Klein Tools RT110 Outlet Tester, AC Electrical Receptacle Tester for North American Outlets

This is a simple outlet tester which you put into the outlet and get a reading. It gives a readout which lists the problem. With this information one can fix something simple or find an electrician if it is more complicated.

Quick and easy. Everything you need to know and it works on tamper proof outlets.

Nice accessory for your toolbox to have on hand. You never know when you will need to check the electrical circuitry in your house.

I will try to be as honest as possible because I depend on other people's reviews and feel I want to help the best I can: After complaining for years I wish I had some way of testing a receptacle quickly whenever an electronic item was not working so I could tell if it was the power or the electronic item. In the past I ran around the house for 20 minutes looking for something I could unplug and test a different receptacle. Found these on Amazon by accident and sure glad I did. This simple product not only tells me if the power is coming in, but can diagnosis what the exact problem is if the power is not fully working as it should. For the price I think every home should have one. Good luck.

Good

It works exactly how it should and I use this so when I am charging my electric car I can confirm that if the outlets are going to be an issue for me when my car charger throws errors I know what the issue actually is for.

I love products that do one job and do it perfectly. This answered my question and I am glad no electrician is needed.

My home was built before 1970 so I have retrofitted most of the electrical wiring. It's an ongoing process and this product is excellent for diagnostic purposes. My two most common problems are 1) Not enough circuits and 2) All circuits weren't properly grounded. Computers and sensitive electronics came after the build. Same with blow dryers, microwaves, Laptops, tablets... Plugged in a new UPS and it told me there was a problem. Used this Klein tester and it was easy see that I didn't have a proper ground. The display is bright the pictures told me the problem. Sensitive for proper readings but tough enough to use regularly without worrying. It has a pocket next to my volt meter in my tool bag. I recommend and would buy again. Though I don't anticipate needing one unless I lose this one.

excelente para revisiones rapidas muy intuitivo incluso, solo hay que prestar bien atencion

Does what it says. Simple, efficient

It works. Simple and easy.

Great little tool that helped me figure out grounding issues with one of my Bluetti battery packs so I could get it to run my furnace.
