Perfect for Training/Operational Use
This is a great reference card to with the sextant. Great summary of celestial navigation concepts, and a quick and easy-to-use sight reduction form. Two quick items: this reference card is based on Pub 249 for lookups (including Pub 249 Volume 1); and this is not really oriented toward absolute beginners (as the concepts and reduction form are easier to understand with some context). Looking forward to taking it on the water! Very highly recommend

Worth it. Get it.
This is a great condensed reference for the nuts and bolts of a Cel shot. If you are learning Cel Nav it’s a great reference for the big picture. Or if you need a quick reference because you haven’t taken a sight in a while, this is a good place to start. Glad I bought it.

A good buy
Probably good for sailors in English waters. Products look good and durable even though some of the fonts would be difficult to read on a moving boat in choppy conditions.

A great reference tool, has everything needed quickly available
We have thousands of dollars invested in our electronic navigation system. But one lighting strike can out all that in a fraction of a second. So we put together an Emergency Navigation Kit for our travels around the Caribbean and this was one of the primary parts of it. Absolutely required if you are going out of view of land. PS. Don't wait until you lose power to find out how to use it. Practise often.
