These worked very well and were accurate. I purchased enough to do the whole family, followed the directions exactly, and they all functioned as they should. For some reason it is very difficult to get a doctors office to request a blood-typing unless there is a true medical need... much easier and cheaper to use these kits at home.

This kit might be quicker and easier than tracking down your blood type from your doctor’s office! The test was simple to administer and had a learning curve similar to an at-home COVID test—just follow the step-by-step instructions, and you’ll be fine. I used it on myself, an elementary-aged child, and a toddler. The finger prick was straightforward, even for someone with no medical background. It’s about the same experience as a finger stick at the doctor’s office—manageable for adults but understandably a little unpleasant for kids. The results were easy to read, with clear and definitive outcomes. If you need to determine your blood type at home, this is a convenient and reliable option. Highly recommend!

Easy home use blood type kit. I bought the three test kit so we tested two other family members with quick results. It’s been so long since I knew what my blood type is and this is a cost effective and quick way to find out without having to leave my home.

This kit worked. We couldn't find any record of my husband's blood type. Rather than calling doctors offices or the Red Cross trying to find record of it I decided to order a kit. I've known my blood type forever just like knowing my DOB and SSN. 3 test kits came in the package which made me feel good in case we messed one up. We ended up only using 2 because the procedure was simple enough and the typing results were obvious. We did one on me as a control since I knew my type and the test matched it. Two points need improvement: 1) the EldonSticks (4 per kit) are not easy to get a nice drop of blood on like the instructions show. If the results hadn't come out clearly for us I would of blamed the transferral of blood to the card w these sticks as a problem. 2) the how to video online (referenced on the paper instructions) was no help with using the EldonSticks nor on rotating the card. Those were my two areas of confusion after reading the written instructions and the video was of NO help. It needs to be updated to cover EACH step of the instructions. In our case "all's well that ends well". It was quick, easy enough, and gave clear results.

Works great! Hospital doesn't tell you what type of blood your baby has anymore( at least mine doesn't). So I got to fine out his blood type. Tested my husband and mine too. As we know ours and to to see is it is right. It was on both of ours. So I believe my son's is right as well.

I bought 3 Blood Tests to find the blood type of 3 different people including myself. - My mother (Martha) has A+ - I (Scully) also have A+, however i found i have deoxygenated blood. Also had to prick myself twice because my initial prick on my ring finger didn't supply me with enough blood. I pricked the 2nd time on my pointer finger. - Erik has O-, which is considered to be rare. He’s a universal donor but he sadly can only receive O- if given blood transfusion. (I pricked Erik & Martha on their middle finger, on the tip but off to the left side. Luckily only had to prick them once, and it gave me enough blood to drop onto the 4 quadrants) I will preface for mine, i forgot to initially mix the blood for 10secs and expand it around the circle (hence why the card looks off). I also forgot to initially swing my arm around to create blood flow to my finger tips. However once I fix my deoxygenated blood (with iron intake and cardio) hopefully i can redo the test and get better looking results, because right now the card looks dull for my results.
