Comes with everything you need to remove the factory backplate and install the new one, and the video walkthrough is actually really good and in depth. All in all, took me about 10 minutes to have it installed. The rubber on the back is pretty firm with a nice stipple texture. However, I thought if it was any good, it would be nice to have some grip since the top piece to my customization is super slick. But when I got it and installed it, I realized it was actually incredibly handy and well-crafted. The grip is rubbery without being too soft and feels unlikely to wear down without massive usage. In fact, it has stood up fairly well to moderate to heavy usage for a month now with no signs of wear. I liked it so much that I bought two more (one white, one black) for my other two controllers I'm not customizing just because the ease of installation and the feel. It's definitely worth it.
