Will this cpu cooler work for an intel i9 9900k? i don't intend to overclock it?

This CPU fan works with these Intel CPU socket types: Intel: LGA1200/775/1150/1151/1155/1156. I believe the Intel I9 9900K is a LGA 1151 socket so this CPU fan should work. Even if you did overclock, this fan should provide enough cooling to keep the processor within operating range.

How many argb lights are there? when i plugged it in my software defaulted to 80 which i highly doubted. i believe its 12 lights after adjusting.

12 lights is about right. I just let mine cycle as this is for a workstation for paperwork. For the price though its hard to argue about it. It keeps the CPU cool even under 100% load so....

Installed on an i5-11400, temperatures always below 70°, an excellent option if you don't want to spend a lot on good air cooling.

No idea why anyone has anything bad to say about this... either they installed it wrong or they're just plain ignorant... installed in about 5 minutes and I LOVE it. Temps never got over 55 degrees Celsius under gaming load for my am4 cpu. It looks awesome too lol. If you need a budget cooler this is it. It even came with some thermal paste.

Very very pleased with this cooler. Easy to install, solid mounting. As stated in the title, AIDA64 showing 64° stable. My previous cooler would throttle on this test. I've been a huge fan of Jonsbo for cooling. If you have a small case with height restrictions I highly suggest the Jonsbo HX6210. Another fantastic cooler but unfortunately extremely hard to find.
