Color:Black  |  Size:Large The GlowRider jacket integrates patented and patent pending Electro-Luminescent (EL) technology directly into the jacket. With the push of a button, EL panels on the back and shoulders light up to significantly increase your nighttime visibility. Powered by a rechargeable lithium battery hidden in the sleeve, the EL panels will glow for 10+ hours on a full charge. So you can ride all night and still be seen. Like other jackets, the GlowRider has passive reflective material on the jacket. But reflective material only works when a light is shone directly on it. Not so good when a car is going around a turn, or you’re in a vehicle’s blind spot. The active EL panels of the GlowRider jacket enhance your visibility regardless of whether any light is shining on you. Aside from lighting up, the GlowRider is also an awesome all-season jacket. When it’s cold, use the zip-out quilt liner to keep you warm. When it’s hot, remove the liner and open up the strategically placed air vent zippers. When it’s wet, the waterproof outer shell will keep you dry. When you eat too much, the adjustable waist straps and sleeve snaps will accommodate. When the ride gets long, the micro-fiber collar and cuffs will keep you comfortable. When you get lost, the map or smartphone you placed in the clear wrist pocket will get you to your destination. When you head to the track, the pant zipper will allow you to zip up and the CE armor will be there to protect you.

Really nice jacket
It is a great jacket with quality stitching and materials. I have been using this daily and it is warm down into the 20s... depending on your personal tolerance to the cold that is. However, the jacket does not have enough air flow for a day in the 70s or warmer... unless you are a bit cold blooded of course. My only gripe about the jacket, hence 4 not 5 stars, are the elastic straps for adjusting the elbow armor are just too loose. In other words, they need a couple more snaps to provide a snug fit for those without gorilla arms or wearing multiple layers. Otherwise, I am really happy with the jacket

It feels nice and fits great (215 lbs
Jacket came relatively quick. It feels nice and fits great (215 lbs, 5'11/ gym folks). sturdy and not cheap at all. the big, BIG BIG disappointment is the jacket was dirty. not box dirty but noticeably dirty with a few stains. and that kind of made me upset, i would have sent it back but I needed a motorcycle jacket ASAP and had no time.

Great jacket!
Excellent jacket for visibility. But don't pay more than $200.00 for it!

Nice jacket, definitely three season jacket
Nice jacket, definitely three season jacket. Too thin for winter riding. Ordered two sizes bigger then I would buy apparel, and even that was border-line fit.

Best idea for a jacket
Love this jacket. Shipping was fast. Battery lasts long. Very visible. Got into an accident and the shoulder pads really saved a lot of injury. Unless you want it to fit very tightly, order one size larger than you would normally buy. Love this jacket.

Innovative idea for a motorcycle jacket.
Nice quality, three season jacket. Or remove the liner and replace with a 12v heated jacket liner for four season. A little light for the wet cold here in Western Oregon. Good venting for summer heat. LED lighting is fairly visible and at cager eye level. Battery lasts awhile. Needs pockets on the inside. Order one size LARGER than the measurements provided in the manufacturer's sizing chart.
