This fit perfectly on my Le Creuset Dutch oven. I gave it four stars because it does feel hollow and somewhat lightweight, but I have had no issues with cracking or wear in almost a year now. I have put it in the oven above 500 degrees with no issues either. For the price, it is a great replacement, but don't expect a machined piece of solid steel.

The lid to my old Lodge Dutch oven was stripped. For some reason, it had a pressure fitting on it. I recently started baking sourdough bread in it, and had to use a screwdriver to get the lid off. Not ideal when it's 450 degrees! I saw this replacement and took a chance that it would fit and work better. I am so happy to report that it does! It comes with a silicone ring to keep it tight.The original was black in color, but this one complements it nicely. I'm so happy for the functionality, quality, and performance. For a few dollars, I feel like I have a brand new one! To be told I didn't want to have to get a new one becuase this one is well seasoned and was my Mom's.

This is a wonderful replacement knob for my Club Aluminum dutch oven. Actually-even better substitute for the wooden knob the pan initially came with. It is sturdy and so much easier to grip! It is metal so you cant just grab it like I did with wood but I rarely did that anyway Worth the cost.

Mon creuset est maintenant comme neuf. Le bouton ne tenait plus et ma casserole est en excellent état. Avec ce bouton de remplacement, je peux utiliser à nouveau mon creuset.

These knobs are hallow and made of two parts. The part containing the threads is spot welded, 4 small welds. Not sure how they will perform if I drop the lid again and how the welds will rust. My original knob was made of plastic and it broke when I dropped it. The screw is too short, hopefully the original screw has the same threads. Still better than a broken knob. Looks nice.
