The Film excells in production values with first rate cinematography. The Film contains quite tense moments with a dose of high octane violence and gore, but it does not repels the cine-goers as these elements form a basis in this revenge flick. The story line is not new but derived from some old films of the west and bollywood has produced many films on similar lines. However, the execution of subject is handled with utmost perfection that leaves a viewer spell-bound during the presentation at the cinema. The Film Ghajni showed Aamir Khans' one of his carriers' best performance with a muscular touch which is a delight to watch. I along with my friends had seen GHAJNI three months after its original release (dec2008) in India. The movie did a good bussiness as my friend owns a cinema hall in Karachi-Pakistan and he was of the of the view that film recovered its import cost in one go and in re-runs made two times did a fairly good turnover. It was breeze of fresh air to see people young and old visited at the four major cinemas where Ghajni was released.This film could be stated at its best in terms of music, cinematography and sound effects. For us what has promted me / us to see it again was asin only. It is after a long time a bollywood actress touched our hearts. Any events and information over 15 minutes old is deleted from his memory, but he vividly and clearly recalls what happened till the moment he witnesses Asin's murder. He's got to work around this handicap, but with methodical and meticulous determination. Aamir etches a path of clues that lead him on his path of revenge.To overcome his memory loss, he carries around a sheaf of Polaroids and when he is really sure of a piece of information, he has it tattooed on his body, which stands in for the damaged part of his mind. His indelibly marked torso is the repository of his grief, his rage and his reason to go on living. To sum up, Ghajini is commercial Hindi cinema at its best. As far as his acting is concerned, he's natural as the tycoon, but like a wounded, ferocious tiger when he goes on an avenging spree. Without doubt, it's a concentrated, layered performance. He acts with his entire being. His body movement, the details of his performance, everything rings true. He is both vulnerable and hard. The pain in his face when he can't remember, is palpable. In the College he had the great affinity towards Tamil films and friends. During his college days, he was active in cultural events, particularly in performing stage mimic shows imitating 'Kirubanantha Variar' and famous personalities of cine field.
