There are links to each chapter in the table of contents, for easy access to the chapter or recipe section that I want. There are some great sections at the beginning reviewing the AIP process and cooking tips for turning your kitchen into a place to cook for healing. I like how the various recipe sections begin with a list of the recipes with links to click to move right to the one you want instead of having to swipe through page after page to find it. I especially like how the recipes are listed in the "meal plan" sections with a small picture of each recipe and a link. There are 4 meal plans, with shopping lists and links to recipes, as well as special sections linking to recipes that fall into useful categories such as One-Pot meals, 5 ingredients or less, 20 minutes or less and so on. Very helpful when needing to keep things simple. In reviewing the recipes, I was pleased to find them easy and not overwhelming. When trying to heal, one does not have a lot of energy or stamina for complicated recipes that call for hard to find ingredients. This cookbook fits the bill with recipes that anyone can make that are packed full of spices and sauces so they taste good too! The authors also include numerous recipes for sauces and other substitutions needed to adapt to a healing diet. These recipes are needed to complete some of the recipes in the book, but are also great to use in adapting your own favorite recipes to fit the protocol. I'm glad to have this tool to use in continuing to grow my own "healing kitchen."

Ich fand das Buch hilfreich und inspirierend über die Vielzahl der Rezepte die man trotz aip Protokoll kochen kann. Man bekommt ein Gefühl dafür welche Zutaten zusammen passen. Es sind viele mexikanisch angehauchte Rezepte dabei. Mahlzeitenplaene und eine Übersicht über schnelle Gerichte und kochzeiten erleichtern die Arbeit.

I returned this. It’s well laid out but I don’t like the recipes; candied bacon - so much syrup baked on bacon - I don’t see how this is good for our immune systems with that kind of glucose spike. I also live in Western Australia where we don’t have access to plantains and unfortunately so many recipes includes these. I’m also not a huge fan of sweet potatoes and they’re also prevalent in this book. As the title says, just not for me.

This is my favorite cookbook at the moment. I try at least 4 new recipes a week. So far, most of them have been excellent! My mom is diabetic, we have stomach issues and most of my family are on a healthy diet of some kind. That means these recipes are suitable for many different plans. Some have become weekly staples in our house like Teriyaki Chicken, Taco Beef and Roasted Garlic Broccoli. I appreciate the photos with every recipe. If it looks good - I'll try it.
