how do I wash this? Can I use baby wipe?

The wood it probably wouldn't bother but the rest might have issues

Is the outside of the drum red or blue??? I'd love to have the blue one.

The one we received was a very pretty blue on the outside rim. We did not choose a color so not sure if you have a choice or they are all blue.

does this have an animal hide or fiberskyn drumhead?

I don't know. It was a gift for my grandson and I had it shipped directly to him.

Is the surface made of animal skin?

These are made the traditional way with goat skin. We deal directly with the artisan farmer that raises the goats and constructs the spin drums. Kindly, Sanyork

My baby is about 100 days old and really likes this rattle. It helps soothe him when he’s fussy and also helps train his eye-tracking ability. It’s a great toy.
