I like that they are a loose cotton mesh and are also somewhat loose on my head. I am a 72-year-old woman with thinning hair (we could get real and call some of them bald spots!). These headbands, worn with the knot in front (leaving some of my short curls showing), cover the entire back of my head and look gorgeous. The slight coarseness of the mesh holds them in place very well. The best part is that when more hair is gone and I need further coverage, I can cut the knot off and sew the open end closed, and I will have an adorable beanie with greater coverage. It's a win-win situation!

I love it- it can be spread out wide (so the air flows through the crochet-like material, covers your ears etc.) or push it into a narrower band- whatever you need. It's very soft, easily stretches (no headaches from a too tight headband here!). It's a dark charcoal color- is just like the photos- & well made.

I like the chunky look, and the weave is very open so it’s nice and cool. But the fiber is coarse and scratchy. It makes me itch so bad I can’t stand it for more than 10 minutes at a time.

Based on the photos on the product description page I thought these would be a bit bigger than they are. They are still plenty big and are considerably better than what I would call "standard" headbands. These are also a little more versatile than most too. Overall I like this headband much better than others and no real complaints at all - it's just that "Goldilocks" thing in that it isn't "just right."

I've had many headbands/wraps and this is my favorite. Worth the extra cost. The looser fit is awesome, it's way more comfortable. I have curly hair, and the tighter headbands always make me look like I have clown hair. Also, this is slightly thin/sheer so my head doesn't get hot. So happy I found this. It looks GREAT.

This headband looks really cool and is totally unisex It is very well made and comfortable. Casualbox has many pages of great hats and headbands to chose from and I like the style of many of them.

It’s not soft at all . Scratchy .

Love the feel and style of this headband. They retain the scrunched look and not too wide or thin. Also it's versatile for male or female. I share with my son. Home run here. More colors!
