This works very well for its intended purpose. I suffered a multiple insect attack on my leg after grass cutting which resulted in a large area of very itchy rash; it was getting worse and worse and washing the area was not working. I received the calendula gel overnight and applied it that morning. After 3 or 4 applications during the day, the rash visibly began to diminish until evening. By the next day, after an overnight application, the rash and itchiness was definitely less intense and is dying down. The gel itself contains alcohol, which is immediately soothing when applied to the irritated area, making it feel cool and without itchiness. The gel holds the dilute calendula against the inflamed area and keeps the application there even when it has dried, until you wash it off. This gets a full five stars from me for working so well and I will always keep a tube in my medicine cupboard.

Thi cream is excellent -it healed some sores I had on my arm— I have used it before I ordered it from Amazon and that’s why I brought it again from Amazon this time

I use this gel all the time, on any area of skin that has irritation or bruise, I love that it rubs in and disappears, very healing. I keep tubes of it all over the house!

Got this for a friend who has terrible sores and itching on his legs from invisible bugs biting his legs at work. The bites were inflamed and swollen. Every time he went to work it would get worse. The gel has helped the inflammation and swelling to go down and allowed his legs to heal up. Including keeping the bugs from biting. I don’t think they like it. So it’s repelling the bugs as well.
