Why is this so expensive?

Trust me when I tell you....you get what you pay for

Where can i order new tracks for this? My son broke his and is very disappointed.

I ordered my grandson one for Christmas from Target. Sometimes Tractor Supply or Rural King has Bruder construction toys.

is the inside of the cab detailed and are the tracks rubber?

Scott, the cab of a real bulldozer contains many levers and dials. The cab on the Bruder lacks any functional levers and dials. The tracks aren't actual rubber but rather some form of plastic. The tracks are highly durable and function if the dozer is placed on a surface that provides friction.

Doe it work with 9 volt battery

No the toy has no batteries,but is a great toy.
