I ordered this nerf gun and target set for my son who was turning 7 yrs old. When I received this item I was really impressed with how solid it was built. The targets fall easily when they are hit with the nerf dart, and after all targets fall they spring back up with ease. The digital score counter is a nice feature too because then it turns into a 2 player target range. The nerf gun itself is actually pretty decent. Its shoots the nerf darts with nice amount of force but not too much force. Its actually perfect amount of force for the age group. The only thing that wasnt in my opinion ideal was how you loaded the nerf gun. You have to place the dart in the front of gun barrel then you have to pull back top back part like a handgun slider, and if you dont pull it all the way back the dart wont shoot out or shoot out of the gun with now force, so you just have to pay attention and make sure to pull back arming slide far enough. Its not hard to pull back for an adult but super young kids might have slight issue with charging the gun for shooting. My 7 yr old sone didnt have any issues and loved it, so all and all I would definitely recommend this set especially if your child is just getting into nerf guns this is a good set to get them familiar with how the nerf guns work.

My son and his wife were against toy guns till I bought this for my grandson. Since it has a target range something for him to concentrate his energy on besides his little sister. The gun has no batteries it works off pump action and has considerable range.The target range itself uses batteries. My grandson played with this for quite a while on Christmas. It comes with an extra pack of darts.

I think splitting the rating of this right down the middle is the most fair way to go. Yes, my boys are not the most careful people in the world. However, this thing only lasted about a week. It was fun for a week, but now the targets won't go down for some reason. I don't think they did anything rough with it.

I gave it to my grandson for his 8th birthday and he was thrilled with excitement and joy!

This was such a fun game to play with the kids. The guns have pretty goof accuracy at aim.

For the price, this set has been great. The target has provided hours of fun for our somewhat rambunctious grandson. We've had it a month and he's played with it a dozen times, and it is still working well -- providing fun and entertainment.
