Does the job, though I wish the diameter was larger

It does the job, and it does it well! Not a lot of energy is exerted when using it which is great! A hard strike will give a coarse grind and a few softer/easier strikes will accomplish the same thing. Easily turns bigger solids into a very fine dust if that’s what you’re after too. There are some folks who complain about the paint flaking off, but it’s an easy fix if you’ve got some sandpaper and a grinder; grind the paint off from the bottom of the striking hammer and you’re in business.

The part that crushes the rocks is a lot smaller than the actual tube so basically when you’re crushing the rocks, the stuff will shoot up out of the tube because the tube is too big for the crusher and also all the paint is just literally chipping off

I use this to make fruit for my fusing moles. It’s a clever idea. It’s well made however, the black paint peels off on the inside and gets into my glass for it. So in that aspect, I’m pretty disappointed.

Great quality it’s pretty easy to use but takes a lot of work.

This is an amazing bit of kit. I use mine to crush walnut shells for metal polishing and also for crushing gemstones to make inlay material for jewellery. It does both perfectly and without mess. Don't underestimate the physical effort required, it's a proper workout!
