Revo SuperSignal Deluxe DAB Table Radio with DAB/DAB+/FM Reception, Digital Alarm and Bluetooth Wireless Streaming

The Revo table radio is a great product, however this one that I received via Amazon.com had only 3 *feet* and is therefore unstable. I bought the product as a birthday gift for my wife after we saw and used one at a high-end hotel in Atlanta..... but that one had four feet and didn't wobble and tilt.

This radio looks awesome. As some users have said, it's sort of a struggle to figure out how to work it. It's only good for bluetooth and regular radio in the US. It doesn't pick up the internet radio. The touch the front to snooze feature is great, but you have to manually turn the alarm on and off every day. It's not just one button press either.

Really wanted to like this product, but ultimately just too many problems. Packaging is excellent and well designed. The unit itself is lovely to look at, with walnut and black steel highlights. Build quality seems solid but not extraordinary, especially for this price. Sound quality, again, is solid, but my AudioEngine A2's of comparable size simply sound better in every possible way, for half the price. User interface is AWFUL. I have an engineering degree, yet it took me several hours to figure out how to use this thing. In the age of Apple plug and play simplicity this is simply unacceptable. The joystick device seems delicate and prone to damage. Bluetooth connection was solid. I did like the ability to snooze by just tapping the front. FM reception was terrible, but I do live in a dense city. Worst of all, no DAB in the States, and no mention of in the description. Why not add HD Radio too? Lots of great pro reviews for this and I've been on the hunt for a great sounding alarm clock, but sadly, this one's going back.

Ottima radio, qualità audio molto buona, molto comodo il telecomando. La qualità si vede, si tocca e si sente, tutto questo si ripercuote purtroppo sul prezzo. Mancano le istruzioni in italiano, per me non è stato un problema, è una radio i comandi sono semplici e intuitivi, niente di complicato. Comunque, per chi ha difficoltà, su internet si trova facilmente il pdf anche per la lingua italiana. Consigliato.

Lange, lange habe ich nach dem perfekten Radiowecker gesucht. Die Anforderungen waren: - DAB+ - Bluetooth (Dann brauche ich auch kein Internetradio) - Fernbedienung - Konzentration auf das Wesentliche: Also KEIN CD-Player, Stereo-Lautsprecher etc) - Zwei Weckzeiten - Dimm- und lesbares Display Gefunden! Das Revo ist winzig, sehr edel, klingt groß und lässt sich spielend leicht bedienen! Bedienung ist auch ohne Anleitung ein Kinderspiel, der Empfang sowohl in DAB+ also auch in UKW umwerfend gut. Die Fernbedienung ist ein bisschen billig, funktioniert aber sehr gut. Ich würde sogar noch einen Stern mehr vergeben... für diese herrlich spleenigen Engländer, die Equaliser ernsthaft mit "s" schreiben! --- Nachtrag 06/2021: Ich bin nach wie vor sehr happy mit dem Teil. Gegen den recht basslastigen Sound hat ein wenig Schaumstoff in der Bassreflexröhre Wunder gewirkt. Die ziemlich "windige" Fernbedienung funktioniert wider erwarten immer noch klaglos.

The Revo super signal is a superbly thought out radio alarm, with exemplary audio performance, beautiful craftsmanship and a strikingly retro design. In this price category it has few peers, and comprehensively outperforms the Pure equivalents. Set-up was fairly straightforward, with the time and date being set off the DAB signal. Once set up the menu system allows easy access to all of the important settings, including equaliser settings (which were adequate but I would have liked to see more customisation). Listening to the radio in both DAB and FM modes was a real pleasure, with detailed sound and a strong bass showing for such a small cabinet. Classical and acoustic performances really shined, and rock music was also handled well, although sounding a little more muddy due to its single driver design. The alarm setup is its only real stumbling point, despite having excellent customisation for radio selection and daily repeating alarms, setting of one time alarms was harder than it should be. To set an alarm for the following day only required not only a time, but a date which lead to some errors from this bleary eyed human who's bedtime had long since passed. Hopefully Revo will provide an update for a one time alarm that doesn't require a date, or defaults to the following day. All in all, revo have shown a great understanding of its customers needs and produced a product punching well above its weight, only falling short because of its slightly frustrating alarm set up.
