You will receive a base coat spray can and a professional-quality 2-component clear coat spray can with hardener. The clear coat is characterised by the highest abrasion and scratch-resistance, a very smooth flow, durable high gloss and a very good polishing ability. Precise instructions are included (English language not guaranteed). Shake spray cans well before use. The spray can with the base coat has a variable spray head. This is particularly useful if you want to achieve a pearl effect or metallic finish, as it improves distribution of the particles. Apply at least 2 thin layers of the base coat. Allow 5 minutes between the application of the first and second layer. If additional layers are needed, allow 5 minutes between the application of each layer. Before you start spraying, always spray the first line of paint on a piece of cardboard or ing film. There may still be unmixed paint residues in the riser tube which cause ugly stains during painting. After you have applied an even layer of paint, seal the whole surface with a clear coat. The clear coat must be applied, as the base coat is not scratch-resistant. Please also consider the paints can fade with the years, that is, the repair paint appears darker than the paint on your vehicle. Therefore, always make sure to create soft transitions when spraying the paint.
