I should have bought two! We have played the original Kanoodle and loved the little puzzles that it offers. One of the best features about the Kanoodles is the "travel" part of it. You can take it everywhere and I love the upgrade of how they packaged this version. It comes in a box and super easy to take out and play. The kids figured out how to play it on their own without reading the instructions. They are taking turns figuring out the puzzles and each one gets harder as you move into the different pieces. Honestly, when they go down at night, I take a turn to play a few of the puzzles and it's fun to just figure out the fastest way to get from the start to the finish. There are definitely times that I get stuck as well, but it's a quick easy puzzle to play on your own. The kids don't get frustrated when they don't get the answer right, but I see a lot of "aw man!" when they are one box off or don't get the puzzle piece in the right spot. They just pick up their piece and start over. It helps pass the time during the day while we are home so I am glad I bought it. The packaging is super simple and when Amazon sent the puzzle, it came a few days sooner than expected. That is always a plus in my mind. Hope your kids have fun playing it (and you might enjoy it too!).

I wasn’t sure if my son would enjoy this game or no but it seemed interesting to me so I picked it up anyway. Happily he enjoys it so I haven’t gotten much time to see how many puzzles I can solve yet myself. Think I last was on #9. He’s way higher and he seems to enjoy trying to solve in as few flips as he can. Well made and very nice that you can store the puzzle pieces inside the little case so you can travel with this really well. Would be great for long travel trips or while waiting. There are a lot of puzzles (100) so for most people that’s going to be a long time to solve them all. Some are challenging or were for me since I haven’t played this type of game before but once I got the hang of how you do it it was fun. I enjoyed the challenges and hope my son leaves out again so I can try more puzzles soon. Or maybe he gets them all solved he will pass on to his mom, lol. Definitely recommend for kids and adults.

I don't own all the Kanoodles, but I like this more than the original, and way more than Kanoodle Gravity, which I didn't enjoy very much (too easy). The game comes with three pieces that will be flipped in the different challenges, a storage case/grid that can hold the challenge card deck, rule cards, and the three pieces. The challenge card deck is different from their other games, where the challenges come in a book. The challenge cards are double-sided, but do not contain the solutions. I'm not sure if Educational Insights offers the solutions or not . Two things to note - the challenge cards are very thin, and different chunks come perforated, so you'll have to tear them apart to order them properly. I initially thought I was missing a card, but it was just stuck behind another card. Also, I do wish there was some type of slot to slide the cards in so you didn't have to open the cover for every challenge, but ultimately this isn't any more set-up than any other single player puzzle game, so it's not too much of an issue. I highly recommend this game!

The product is well made. Pieces and game board is solid. The pieces fit and move on the board really well. I like that is compact and therefore easily playable on any road trip or plane. Best of all, it's fun and challenging. What a great way to challenge yourself and think in new ways. There is also a TON of replay-ability. Even after you beat a puzzle, you can try to do it again in less move or do it under timed conditions. Puzzles can easily be replayed since you will not remember how you solved it!

Bought these for a family member who has had a few strokes and needs brain games. We’ve acquired a bunch of these kanoodles over the years and this one is my favorite so far. She took it home with her and now I have to order another for myself. 😅

Got it for a hard to shop for brother in law. He likes puzzles and brainteasers so I hoped this would be right up his alley. He loves it!
