Well made, nice finish and easy to use. I have used it twice. In steaming grapes there was no pulp to deal with as the juice was crystal clear. The juice was also darker than using a vegetable crusher on the same grape. The bottom of the pot that holds the water has a triple ply type bottom which was not mentioned in the Amazon description. A definite plus. It took about 2.5 hrs for 3 lbs of grapes (about 1/2 capacity of top section) The siphon tube works well and is convenient for draining. It self starts with enough juice, or just tilt the pan and it starts. It makes the crusher that I normally use a dinosaur. I also tried a power juicer with grapes, which was fast, but ground up the seeds, had pulp and imparted a bitter taste. Glad I bought it, plus no moving parts or motors, should last forever. The heirs will have to fight over it.

Absolutely love it. Saves time and effort, saves 1 or 2 steps in processing fruit and/or veggies for canning jelly or sauce. Pure juice. Easy to use, Easy to clean, put it to boil and basically walk away, but not for long. Quick and efficient. Perfect for my needs. Thanks!

So I always wanted a steam juicer, and ordered it a week ago. I had seen people raving about using it as a stock pot (but why??). However, on the day it arrived I was 3 large pots into both parsnip and beetroot wine recipies and had no other large pot in which to strain the liquid and stir in the sugar. Ah-ha! I had the juicer ! I have to say the base pot and glass lid (in fact all components) are so well made. It worked out great - and great timing too! Really, really well made and balanced. The handles are well balanced too. Very, very happy with this purchase albeit months from juicing anything!

I just got into canning and wanted to can grape juice. This makes it so easy and convienient. It fits great on my stove and has no toxic chemicals in it. It’s easy to clean and I’m so happy to have it.

This is a solid steam juicer. I have been using it to make grape juice for 3 years. I have another cheaper model (VPK1148) and can make a comparison. This model: - The stainless steel finish is shiny and easy to clean and keep it shining - The water pan is bigger and with thicker bottom - The steamer baskets does not have holes in the center, which prevents juice from dripping directly into the water pan - The juice flows at a slower rate with this pot, which I didn't know until I purchased the other model - 5 year warranty, which works great! I had an issue with my water pan this year and the company sent me a new one for free and without questions asked Model VKP1148: - Aluminum body, which stains and is harder to maintain "good looks" - There are no handles on the water pan - Smaller water pan (need more frequent refilling) with thin bottom (more prone to burns) - The steamer basket slowly seeps straight into the water pan and you end up boiling watered juice - The juice flows very fast out of the hose, which decreases the overall time taken to process a "batch" - 2 year warranty If you're looking for dependability, better material and longer warranty, I'd choose this item. If you're looking strictly for faster output, I would choose the VPK1148 and put up with the lack of handle on the water pan and having to refill it more often. Personally, I like having both.

Great steamer! I make lots of jelly from sand plums and now I don't have to do any more prep work to get the juice, you just get beautiful clear juice. Would highly recommend.

I love everything about this steamer. I was able to juice and hot water bath can a huge amount of fruit in just a couple hours, where normally I would've had to wait all day or night for juice to slowly drip. Not having to add water to your fruit allows for a wonderful concentrate that you can use as you like, instead of having to wonder if your batches are all the same. There is no steam leakage from anywhere and the clear glass lid allows you to see your fruit cooking down so you know it's working. This pot is worth every penny.

This has drastically improved my productivity when making homemade jelly and juice.Wish I had bought it years ago.

Like the rivets, rubber/silicone handles and heavy duty thick base. Also is steel so works on my portable induction hotplate so I can use it outside in the summer to keep from heating up the house. I have used it for black currants, crab apples. apples and elderberries. Just did elderberries today and from 5kg of berries I got 4L of juice (80% yield!) which is amazing. The holes in the steamer portion are small enough that elderberries can't get through so you could pretty much use this for anything. The drain hose is silicone so NOTHING sticks/stains it. Boiling hot elderberry juice just rinses away with hot soapy water. You don't really need the glass lid as you base it on time but for all the other aspects of this pot I would not hesitate to buy this vs a knockoff. I tend to juice for 60-90 min depending on the value of my fruit. Low value fruit 60 min, high value fruit 90 min. You get the bulk in the first 30 min, then yields drop 50% for the next 30 min then to 25% for the last 30 min. So for example 8 cups first 30 min then 4 cups next 30 min then 2 cup last 30 min. To get an idea of capacity of the steamer, it can hold 5kg (11 lbs) of berries or 5.5kg (12 lbs) of crabapples/small apples. 5 stars. Way better than boiling then straining though cheesecloth.

I was a bit skeptical about this piece of equipment. I'd been making delicious grape juice the old-fashioned way (cheesecloth) for several years, but it was a LOT of work so I thought I'd give the Victorio steam juicer a chance. I'm glad I did. It took a lot of the mess and effort out of the process, and the juice is excellent. The quality of the stainless steel is very good. It was packaged very well when it arrived. The instruction manual included some basic recipes, too. I recommend this product.

Very versatile pot. Easily makes juice from fruit, especially apples. Don't need to core them or anything. Just rinse and throw in the basket. Can even freeze your fruit and juice it later. Hose drain easily transfers hot juice into a dutch oven to be reheated and sealed or canned. Can be used as a stock pot, steamer or steam juicer. The stainless cleans easily (boiled it dry and thought I'd ruined it on first use) but it cleaned right up with a little soaking and baking soda. I like the glass lid so I can see when the fruit has sagged down enough to add more, if I'm doing it that way, or even just to know how the whole process is progressing without lifting the lid. I did find that processing frozen apples made a more diluted juice. I make a lot of kombucha and the juice is perfect. I've done apples, crab apples, blueberries and Chokecherries.

I absolutely love this steam juicer. I have used it to steam many batches of juice already and have had it less than a month. I have also used the bottom pot to make jelly. The juice comes out perfectly clear, is super easy to use, and cleans up beautifully. I plan to use this for many different things. I love how versatile it it! The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is because the clamp would NOT close over the hose no matter what I tried, so I ended up having to adjust it slightly where the clamp is supposed to hold together. It holds nicely now. All in all, this is an excellent choice, and one of the BEST items I have ever had in my kitchen and well worth the price.
