Will a re-useable filter fit?

Our machines are designed for use with disposable paper filters so we cannot guarantee as it hasnt been tested for this use. Thanks Melitta UK

What size melitta filter do i order for this machine?

The filter size required for this machine is 1x4 Thanks Melitta UK

Are paper filters required with this machine pleas?

I use good-quality cheap size 4 filter papers (I get them on Amazon, 3 packs last a long time). I think it comes with a mesh container that you can use instead, but paper filters are more convenient. Invest also in a pack of limescale-removing tablets; this machine nags you with a bright red light if it thinks limescale has built up too much.
