Ideal for high volume application by airless spray for steel fabrications, sheet metalwork and general metalwork. Can also be applied by conventional spray, brush or roller. * High volume solids* – covers better, goes further * Dries faster – touch dry in 10-15 minutes * Easy Application * Range of colours available * More anti-corrosive ingredients – protects better, lasts longer * Low VOC content – less solvents, less harmful to the environment Application Method: Airless Spray, Brush or Roller Surfaces: For Steel / Aluminium VOC Level: 415g / Litre Coverage: 7.5m / Litre Touch Dry: 15 Minutes @ 18-21 degrees C Over-Coating: 8 Hours @ 18-21 degrees C Maintenance Cycle: 2 Years Thinning & Cleaning: Marathon 737 Number of Coats: 2 "Surface Preparation: All surfaces to be clean, dry and free of contamination. Blast clean steel to SA 2½ or apply to undamaged, compatible primer. Typical Paint System: 1 x 75 μm (DFT) Primathon Coating I, followed by 2 x 35 μm (DFT) Marathon Fast Finish, Marathon Fine Finish, or almost any single pack topcoat. Other systems may be specified, depending on area of use. Typical Use: Anti-corrosive primer for steel and aluminium in moderate, non-aggressive environments. Application: Temperature of substrate should be a minimum of 3°C above the dew point, ideally 18°C – 21°C. Airless Spray: Recommended (15-19 thou tip, pressure 2500 psi) Brush & Roller: Recommended "
