This is a great device to have if you are trying to avoid taking your car to the gas station for an air pump. With this you do not need to make any trips to gas station or costco to pump your tires anymore. You can do it at the comfort of your home or if you are out and about and need a tire pumped up. First thing I will say about this is that the pump does require your car (if you are plugging this into your car) to be on in order to use it to pump your car tires. My assumption is that there is not enough power being pushed into the device to pump your tires. I tried it without having the engine on and the air pressure was not strong enough. It does however have enough power to pump a ball or something. It does not have a wall outlet so you are not able to plug this device directly into the wall. The normal default head for this pump is the car pump. It does have attachments for things like a basket ball and such. From what I can tell this device does not have it's own built in battery and requires and external power source in order to function. The pump itself is a big loud when pumping so be aware of that when using this. It is pretty compact and light. All the attachments are easily stored within this unit. The head replacement is pretty simple and easy. There is also a capacitor replacement but I honestly have no idea how to replace that if it even blew. One small thing to note is that the small screen is extremely prone to scratches. It is pretty much just a really cheap plastic cover so be careful when storing. It does have a built in pressure gauge so you can tell exactly what the pressure is in your tires. With the digital pressure gauge you are able to see exactly what pressure the tire is at when you plug it in. One thing to note is that this does have its own shut off so whatever pressure your set it to just let it run. Do not really rely on the pressure gauge while this thing is pumping as the reading will be off. Just let the pump turn itself off and that will give you a more accurate reading. The hose and pump head do get pretty warm when using this for all four tires at once. Each tire could take up to five minutes to pump depending on the pressure level. This is something you can also fit in your trunk and it will not take up too much space. It is plugged into your cigarette lighter to draw power. There is also an emergency flash light on it so you have a light when you are trying to find the tire nozzle in the dark. The power cord is relatively long however you will have to run the wires through your opened passenger doors in order to reach the tires. Overall I think this tire pump is a definite must for keeping in your car. It really gives you a sense of security, saves you a trip to the gas station, and works pretty much for everything that may need air pumping. The compressor is a nice touch but I am not a fan of blowing stuff around in my car. The pump is powerful so you do not have to worry about not having enough air in your tires anymore. The orange design is pretty sleek and the carrying handle makes it easy to carry around.

This little air pressure machine is impressive! When I first opened it I thought there was no way it was going to work but boy was I wrong! First, this machine takes your current air pressure in your tires so you don't need a separate analog or digital gauge to purchase. Next, simply put your desired tire pressure levels and let this thing go to work. In less than 3 minutes your tires are inflated properly extending the useful life of your tires. It also has a very useful flashlight to use at night. I am impressed with this product and would highly highly recommend it! Thanks, Jethax for saving me from going to the gas station or tire shop to get air in my tiers and extending the life of my tires saving me a lot of money. So I've had this for 2 weeks and it continues to amaze me! It is very accurate and quick putting the proper air pressure in my expensive Continental tires. I love not having to go to Tire Kingdom anymore and waiting to get air. If you want to take care of your car's tires correctly you need to buy this.

It worked well for 5 years, then it started leaking. I’m not sure if I should expect it to last longer.

Want to know why the reviews for this product are so good? Because the seller manipulates them. If you leave a negative review (like mine below) you will receive MULTIPLE follow-ups from the seller via a very sketchy @amazon-aftersale.com domain that is NOT owned by Amazon. They list your full name (which is creepy - how did they get this information when Amazon fulfilled?) and the text of your review, then offer to basically do whatever you want (keep the product or throw it out and they'll send you a new one) in order to "win a review delete or update". This isn't "perfect customer service", it is open review manipulation, especially the non-Amazon domain with Amazon's name in it. If you still want this product, don't worry - once they inevitably get shut down for this unethical practice, they will just spin up the exact same product with a slight change (case blue instead of orange and a different company name but otherwise identical) and start the entire scheme over. Amazon, please do something about this, I hate wasting time buying something with good reviews that end up being heavily influenced by the seller. Original review: Doesn't work right. Sorry, this is trash. Couldn't ever get it to work right. Sometimes it would shut off at the set PSI, sometimes it would keep going and going and going until I manually shut it off, sometimes it would shut off at the set PSI and then measure the tire at the wrong PSI (by its own reading). Even turning it off and taking the lower reading compared to what my car's TPMS sensors detected, it was off by several PSI, but not by a consistent amount so that I could compensate for it. The screen is too dim to read in the daylight without shading it with your hand. When you turn it on, it defaults to KG/CM² (or something) every time and while I'd love if the USA switched to the metric system, the pressures I need to inflate my tires to are always listed in PSI. I thought that by paying double of obvious garbage-quality air compressors that I would get a more accurate or better product; it's not. The case, while cheap, is clever in that the hose folds into the back neatly, but that doesn't lift this above a firmly one-star product. Buying this just made my life worse but thankfully Amazon is awesome about returns.

I drive for Uber and during the winter tires will sometimes loose pressure so I got this guy. So far I have used it several times and for all purposes it works very well. My only complain (more of a small nit pik) is that it’s a lot slower then the pumps at a gas station, but not so slow that it’s bad. I understand you can only get so big a compressor in such a small package (it’s the size off a small lunch box. Other then that it’s been a nice edition to my trunk and every driver should have one.
