Question 1

What makes Berry Beautiful Red Raspberry Seed Oil different from other raspberry seed oils?

Accepted Answer

We upcycle it ourselves from red raspberry seeds grown in Whatcom County, Washington. We handle seed drying, cold-pressing below 120°F, filtration and bottling. Made in small batches, it is unrefined with no solvents, additives or preservatives.

Question 2

Can I use Berry Beautiful Red Raspberry Seed Oil directly on my face?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It is a pure carrier oil that can be used undiluted. It is non-comedogenic, hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive and acne-prone skin. Start with 2 to 3 drops on clean, slightly damp skin, and patch test before first use.

Question 3

What fatty acids and nutrients are found in Berry Beautiful Red Raspberry Seed Oil?

Accepted Answer

Results from over 13 years of laboratory testing show a consistent profile: about 52% omega-6 linoleic acid and over 30% omega-3 alpha-linolenic acid, plus naturally occurring vitamin E. Testing has detected beta-carotene, lutein and ellagic acid.

Question 4

How does Berry Beautiful Red Raspberry Seed Oil compare with rosehip seed oil?

Accepted Answer

Berry Beautiful is a U.S.-made alternative to imported rosehip oils. Ours is lightweight and naturally contains vitamin E and essential fatty acids. We press it in small batches in Washington and date every bottle, making freshness easier to judge.

Question 5

What should Berry Beautiful Red Raspberry Seed Oil look and smell like, and how should I store it?

Accepted Answer

Expect golden amber oil, sometimes with a green cast, and a natural seedy or musky aroma. Subtle fruity notes and harvest variation are normal. Store tightly closed in a cool, dark place, follow the Use By date and use within 6 months after opening.
